soooo here's a big section from this crazy scifi AU with Born Sexy Yesterday sam (is he a sexbot? a sex alien? grown out of a sex test tube? idk, i hadn't decided yet) that i was writing like 6 months ago before my big bang took over my life.

ben and adam are doing unimportant handwavey science fiction stuff in a ship. sam is their clueless hot naked alien stowaway that they saved from certain death like a sad wet kitten who keeps trying to have sex with them but adam REFUSES because he RESPECTS HIS BOUNDARIES!!!!!! even though sam is begging for it/might die without it. you know how it goes

will it ever see the light of day? TRULY who knows but please enjoy 👽

Do sequels in the works already count? Because in that case--- Q and I have been workshopping Part 2 and 3 of Maeve Dom for literal weeks by now. Part 2 is a more plotty relationship building fic even if there's so much smut planned still, and Part 3 is basically--- Charlottesville-Mezieres 2.0 Electric Boogaloo <3

And if only stuff that doesn't already have something in the work?

Theories of Non-Conforming Heterosexuality was supposed to be an Outsider POV and every now and then I am forced again and again to consider---- how much fun an Outsider POV of the Badam QPP (+Maeve) could be <3

63. something you hate to see in smut

my real answer is paint-by-numbers sex where the characters aren't doing anything unique to their personality. but my evil answer is when it turns into a lecture on safe sex for no reason. i simply lose my shit when a character all but breaks the fourth wall to explain to their fellow adult partner and the audience why condoms are important or whatever. we know!!!!

55. of the characters you write, who is your favorite? has that been swayed by reader reaction to your fics?

gosh, what a great question. i have a soft spot for sam because i wrote so many sam POV fics in quick succession and he's just such a weird little freak to me. but i really enjoyed writing adam POV recently! i find him very easy to write due to the weapons-grade anxiety. i don't think i've been swayed per se, just encouraged & enabled :)

hmm i love a good AU but i am usually a canon divergence girlie and not a Full Alternate Universe person generally. this being said i really want to do something like a whodunnit / mystery fic, i really like when AUs play with genre and i think that that could be a fun exercise!!!
