Werecat tahl enjoys shapeshifting when she can find the time in the temple. With quigon finding out one day by spotting her shift.
Witha huge yawn, Tahl stretched her muscles, despite her having slept on herstomach. A pleased groan escaped the female, when she felt and heard some ofher bones pop. The honey skinned female took a deep breath and finally pushedherself up to her knees, shaking her blanket down from her body and getting outof bed, though it cost her a lot of effort. Mission after mission made even thehardest bed seem like bliss.
She went through her usual morning routine, taking a very, VERY short shower - she was not overly fond of water, but she did not want to be dirty or even worse, to stink, either - got dressed and took care of her hair and eventually had a small nutritious breakfast. Afterwards, the honey skinned female was sitting on the couch of her living room, looking around and desperately trying to find something useful to so.
It was unbelievable, barely two days back from a mission and she had already no idea what she could do with all her free time, despite being utterly bored. A frown appeared on her features. She COULD go tot the Room of a thousand Fountains, she hadn’t been there since quite some time now and it would most likely help with reawakening her spirits. Tahl shrugged to herself and got up, leaving her robe behind, it was a hindrance anyway and she could not understand either of her friends, who seemed to love the brown robes. She blamed it on them being male and therefore trying to appear more intimidating. Though neither Mace Windu, nor Qui-Gon Jinn particularly needed something to help them with it.
A few minutes later, the female Jedi found herself wandering the halls of the temple. The corridors were abandoned, surely because of the increased activities in the other Rim territories and the increasing need of Jedi assistance. That and it was still rather early and the few Jedi, who WERE on the temple, most likely still slept. Tahl was an early riser and would always be. The other side of the coin was that she got to bed earlier than most other temple occupants, like Qui and Mace tended to remind her, when the three of them, were out again.
The female made a humming sound and stopped dead in her tracks. She carefully looked around, searching for any kind of soul. Upon not spotting any, neither with her eyes, not with her hearing and not even in the Force, she reached deep inside herself, searching for the inner beast that she kept on a tight leash, whenever she was on Coruscant or on missions. Rare were the times, when she could allow the feline in herself to take the control and the more appreciated it became.
Tahl freed her hair from the bun she had bound it into, she preferred it cascading wild and free, when in her werecat form. Then, she initiated she shift. First the short hairs on her body started to grow, forming a dark brown fur with pitch black stripes. She felt her ears growing larger, as well as her hands and feet turn into claws and not to forget, the last few vertebra of her spine were longer as well, until a bushy tail had formed, its end also black. It was a little awkward to maneuver tail and trousers, but she somehow managed, it was not like anything was visible anyway, even were she to run around without any kind of clothes. Her fur was protecting her.
Tahl ferociously shook her head, sending her hair flying around. Her tongue ran over her canine teeth, her ears flickering and her eyes getting used to being different than her human ones. When she was satisfied, she began to move again, her goal was still the Room of a thousand Fountains, where she would find herself a nice large tree, under - or perhaps even on - which she could rest lazily. She would listen to the sound of flowing water - which was alright, as long as it didn’t come into direct contact with her - and meditate, trying to leave her latest violent mission behind.
Mentally, the female werecat nodded to herself. That certainly sounded like a plan. And later, she could always go and annoy either Mace or Qui-Gon…
Little did she know, that she had not been as alone and unobserved as she had thought. Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master with long brown hair was staring intently at the cat-humanoid. Had he not been absolutely sure that he had drunken nothing alcoholic yesterday, he had spent the time with Obi-Wan, he would have thought that he must be hallucinating. But the Force told him that it was true what he had just witnessed.
Midnight blue eyes blinked. He had only intended to go and speak with Tahl, make some arrangement for meeting later, but this was certainly… an unexpected development. If it was bad, would remain to be seen.
