He was lost? He had to be. He felt like he’d been wandering about the same stretch of woods for some time now. He should have stayed on the main road, but he’d been to freaked out and scared to stay anywhere close to the main road after the man he’d been hitching a ride had tried to get handsy with him. He’d run off like an idiot with no idea as to where he was going or if there were any bigger dangers out there.

Cold and upset with himself, Arashi pushed on in hoped of getting passed all the trees and wild life, body aching from the rough beating he’d gotten for denying the man’s advances earlier. He’d kneed his good before managing to get out of the car and run. He half contemplated shifting to run ahead and scoop out the area, but in the end he just kept walking.

That was until he heard something moving about up ahead. He froze, unsure of what to do. Run or stand his ground. He was already weak from lack of food and water. He bit his bottom lip hard as he wrapped his arms about himself.
