Heavy footsteps, from left to right, crunching a couple dry leaves every now and again. The target was here, alright, and he was walking closer to the side of the trail.
Walking to the side of the trail ensured that it was harder to see you from the bushes-- and that you wouldn't get run over by any stray wagons taking this as a back road.
Bishop, however, knew exactly where he was based on the sound of his step-- listening intently, waiting to see where he was going. Although, it was most likely that he was heading toward the Thieves' Guild. He was hidden deep in the bushes, Karnwyr following close and waiting for any command if this happened to go wrong.
Though this really wasn't going to be a tough hunt.
Though, of course, he knew that the man was capable-- Fang was pretty skilled, though the ranger wasn't scared. He knew he could take him down with relative. Four well-timed aimed shots and the man would drop like a fly.
He also knew that this man held a high title in that Guild, under Manifesto and Lily. He'd done his research, this was part of what he did. Well-- usually it was as simple as shoot, kill.
But for this job, he had been asked to try and get the man alone, without any witnesses. An instruction he would normally ignore, if they hadn't offered extra gold for the job to be done right.
It was worth a shot, anyway.
