Its severity has greatly lessened (thanks in large part to medication and therapy), but he still has night terrors, and he still refuses to get behind the wheel of a car (which is for the best, because once or twice, traffic noises have triggered panic attacks)
Depression; developed after the car crash which killed his father. Only exacerbated by the PTSD; the first attempt at medicating him was a drastic overdose which led him to attempt suicide. He didn't go back onto medications for another year (during which there were numerous episodes). These, fortunately, helped. He also attends weekly therapy sessions.
