Wesley wasn’t quite sure why he felt this nervous.He had been around Nevien a number of times now and he could tell they were feeling something for each other. But then again maybe that was the issue. He hadn’t let himself ‘like’ anyone since his ex and he was frightened he would fall back into that kind of relationship again.
Wesley lit a cigarette as he wondered around his apartment waiting for Nevien to show up. He had some music playing in the background and something to eat and drink waiting for them. Sure he went to a little trouble to make sure this date was nice but to have someone in his apartment was a big deal to him. He worried about Nev’s reaction when he saw inside. Everything clean and minimal. Everything had its place and that exactly how it had to be all the time. Wes waiting standing before the floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the city with the most amazing view he was all too accustomed too.
“Would you just get the fuck over it already?”
