That's Not My Name || Dominik and Aurora
Aurora rose early, like she did most mornings, but instead of waiting for her ladies in waiting to help her get dressed, she dressed herself in a dirndl not unlike the ones the girls in the village wore, slipped on some soft leather boots, wrote a hasty note saying she was going out and to expect her back later that afternoon, the princess slipped out of her tower and castle.
Her first trip was to the meadow, she basked in the morning glow of the sunrise and picked a bouquet of wild flowers, carefully arranging the stems so that they weren't intertwined with one another. Once the bouquet was how she liked it, she trekked on to the village.
The village was so lively compared to the stoic castle, such liveliness was evident even in the morning. The entire village seemed awake, and as people passed Aurora on the street they received a flower from her. Aurora enjoyed doing little acts of goodness like these, they filled her chest with a radiating warmth that spread throughout her body. The smiles on their faces was her favorite part. That something so little could make them smile was wonderful.
Popping into the bakery, she breathed in the heady smell of bread and sighed. Fresh bread was her favorite, and she bought two of his freshest loaves. Money and a flower was transacted from the girl's hand, and she waved goodbye to the baker and wished him a good day.
All in all, Aurora was having a good day.
Until she left the bakery.
Once she was outside the door and began her trek back to the castle- or maybe the meadow, she wasn't quite sure yet- someone came up beside her, and squeezed her arm. She was so shocked she almost dropped her purchases.
"What are you doing?" she confusedly asked, turning her head around to look at the man, and not recognizing the man nor understanding why he was grabbing her arm. "Ouch! That hurts." What was going on? Who was this man and why was he accosting her? Aurora looked around but no one else seemed to notice what was going on, or wasn't paying attention to the extremely tall stranger walking very close to the blonde girl.
