Spent the last few days knocking on doors in Baltimore City, and worked the polls yesterday with my best childhood friend Kristina Yi-Leary at our high school, Oakland Mills. We were volunteers, but the great gift Wes provided us was the bonding with the communities, and everyone’s love and passion for Maryland being one of the greatest states in America for education, nature, science, medicine and family life. I would not be the person I am without growing up in Maryland. It reminds me of the vast diversity and that I grew up exposed to people of all religions, ethnicities and creeds.
