Today, student coalition S.O.L.I.D. (Student Organization Laboring for Institutional Diversity) lead a community wide walk-out teach-in on race in higher education in solidarity with black students from the University of Missouri.

#WESTANDWITHMIZZOU - McMaster University Solidarity Project

McMaster University students participated in solidarity a project, sharing their own personal experiences of being black on campus, and expressing words of support and solidarity to the black students at the University of Missouri, who are being subjected to an extremely racist and hostile campus environment by students and faculty with whom they share their campus with.

Just because you and I don't partake in or really understand black culture doesn't mean you can turn a blind eye to how they are treated. I am watching the University of Missouri's every fucking move. I hope you are too.
