Inara is a Companion, a high-class courtesan/geisha, she provides emotional and physical services. Inara is elegant, poised, intelligent and socially adept. She uses her skills and expertise in diplomacy, social graces and gift of reading people. On the Serenity and amongst the crew Inara stands out with her beautiful attire, colourful, flowing silks. She will stand up for what she believes, and don't think for a second that this Companion isn't capable of defending herself when need be.
