In an extended post on Xitter British anthropologist Jason Hickel attempts to contextualize this carnage and the aiding and abetting of the US, UK and Germany.

And yes, we know about the heinous Hamas attack and the killing of 1,200 Israelis and other nationalities on October 7 and the 239 people taken hostage; but we also know that the misery of the Palestinians didn't start then, but many decades before.
