Re-Make of an old friend . . . .

One of the most popular requests that we get in our custom leather belt shop is to replace an old friend.  There are so many really great old hand crafted belts out there that have served well over the years but are just worn out.  As a true custom leather belt shop, we specialize in recreating a version of the old belt for our customers.  Most of the time, we take a good ol’ classic buckle set off of the old belt and custom fit it to the new belt.   

Sometimes the customers even request that we try to re-produce the old original pattern on the new belt.   We will do this whenever we feel like we can do the old pattern justice.  

In the case of the photos below, we used the customers’ old buckle set to rebuild his old ranger style belt and he requested that we use our arrowhead basketweave pattern on it.   This belt also included our “lined & stitched” option to beef up the strength for longevity.
