Imagine your OTP

Charmingly oblivious Person B sees Person A having to stand in for a friend as a sort of fake dating partner for their friend’s family gathering. To which Person B worries they are together, so they ask them. When Person A clears things up…

Person A: “Oh, no, no! We aren’t actually in a relationship, I don’t think we would ever see each other like that! No, it’s just to reassure their family not to worry or pester them so about not being with someone. So they aren’t… alone.” They say straying off. Deep down they would really like to be with Person B but they would never want to impose those feelings on them either. To not ruin this calm friendship, this closeness, this openness they have. For it would be far more painful to loose it than to keep their romantic feelings hidden. Person B lets out a light sigh of relief. “Ah, I see.“ chirping up, they add.

 “You know if I were to be in any kind of relationship with you, I would see no reason to ever fake it.”

There is a pause that goes by to which Person B continues nonchalantly.

“I cannot imagine anyone not falling in love with you after spending a moment with you. Let alone partaking in a romantic scenario with you. Even if it’s just for pretend.” After pondering on that thought they realize what they had just confessed. They were quickly going to say something to dissuade what they had let out when Person A speaks over. “D-do you truly feel that way.”

Their eyes flitter quickly to look into Person A’s. Not wanting to lie and seeing a slight bit of hope in Person A’s eyes they decide that if they don’t they may forever lose them. “Yes, every word of it~”
