37. Over Easy – West Omaha, 168th and Q St
This was our second attempt to make it to this popular brunch spot, and the second time around, we did our best to beat the church crowd. Over Easy is a farm-to-table restaurant that has homemade pop tarts and a DRIVE THRU! Once seated, we were provided very trendy mason jar cups, and we complimented the repurposed wood decorating the walls.
What we ordered:
Adam: Biscuits and Gravy with sausage
Sara: French Toast made with bread pudding
Me: Chicken and Waffles
The result: I feel like their homemade pop tarts left a little to be desired, but the main dishes seemed to make up for it. I would definitely make the special trip for this restaurant, despite the expected West Omaha prices. And I really want to take advantage of their drive-thru, as I am lazy and will avoid the 45 min wait from our first attempt.
