It would seem some people have no sense of history. To some it may just have been a water tower, but it's a water tower that's stood the test of time, the past 76 years. It has stood watch over the growth of the town for what? To be deconstructed and completely forgot about because something new and shiny was built to replace it. Think of how many WWII veterans are not with us anymore and how many people have memories of seeing this as kids.
