With arguably some of the most luscious locks in Aurora Bay, Wes shouldn't have been a hard man to find even with the festival in full swing, and yet Lucky had already had to awkwardly start and stop a conversation with one Wes-alike from the back who had fooled him with a passing resemblance.

His parting sorry, man was said but not meant as he took off again on his search, his come to Jesus moment only occurring when a couple walked by him raving about flower sugar cookies which has him re-jigging his route again.

Duh.

Like a lightbulb going off, he was certain he knew exactly where to locate him and as he neared the baker's booth, there he was. In the flesh, not another doppelganger-in-the-distance that Lucky would accidentally piss off.

He waves a hand to get his attention before he approaches him, a friendly smile on his face.

"Wes Evans, just the man I'm looking for."

"Think I must have missed out on what there is to be in love with." Perhaps that was a little cynical of him, but it was difficult to be positive about his situation when there was still so many uncertainties up the air for him.

"Probably not, but I'll tell you because I realised that makes me sound some sort of shady." He jokes, though his tone was more serious when he speaks again. "My ex lives there with her sister. I was trying to see my kid, or see if there was even a chance of seeing my kid at some point in the future. It was a dumb idea looking back now, but I seem to have no shortage of those these days. Worth a shot though, right?"
