My Sonnet

So last Wednesday my English teacher asked my class to write their own sonnets by Friday, so heres mine. (pff I best get an A, worked my ass off rymming :I)

"It's like a creature growing inside me

It feeds off of memory, thoughts, and feat

But I do not mind because I agree

That passion is something I cannot beat

Since I was little I could Remember

Painting dinosaurs on printer paper

And using cracked crayons in December

To make Christmas cards was my fav labor

I can see the potential crystal clear 

The way the canvas starts out lifeless, blank

The way these bare hands maneuver and smear

And the way the colors rawr like Rembrant

I don't think my dreams are far from a reach

I just have to work hard until I screech"
