Aoraki/McKenzie - Only one of ten International Dark Sky Reserves in the world (yes, that’s a thing) from our final leg in Lake Tekapo... my time in Wyoming may be the only closest thing to skies like this. Great family moment in the #pitchdark topped by Evan finding the #internationalspacestation streaking across the sky. Tekapo was full of hikes up Mt. New Zealand! Not sure how we never made it here before but if these first 24 hours are any indication... wow.
