I love all of your bmc fics but your new one about bakunawa michael is super interesting!!! I'm not well versed in filipino mythology (so I'm having fun looking stuff up) but I was wondering if there were any moon/ocean spirits? I know Jeremy is supposed to be human in this fic, but it might be a fun au of your au to have Jeremy turn out to be part spirit (on the other hand I adore the idea of michael loving Jeremy as if he were his whole world too ahh its so cute)

and yeah!!! there are SO MANY filipino deities (it’s wikipedia, i know, but i jus wanna show u that theres….so much….) theres a whole bunch of sea and moon deities!! theres moon/war/revolution goddess Mayari, though the most popular one i can think of off the top of my head is Bulan, the boy moon deity. Bulan’s story and characteristics change from region to region, but the most popular story is the one with him and Sidapa, the god of death. heres an interesting article about that actually. and since im linking you to stuff anyway, check out the Bulan and Sidapa art of Japhers, because it is stunning.

im not really the best person to ask about this because there are So Many filipino mythologies and they vary so widely and im Definitely not an expert. part supernatural jeremy is an A+ idea and while i personally wont write it, i love the concept!! im glad youre having fun reading through all the folklore and mythologies :^D

Alaric was in the lion enclosure, knowing it’s feeding time and a colleague was helping with the talk to the visitors. He? He was just having fun feeding them, to be very honest. It’s nice to not have to spout lion facts at people every day and just have a bucket in hand, meat being placed around the enclosure. The lions here were adorable, they weren’t the easiest to handle nor love but they’ve never snapped at Alaric before. When the crowd had long dispersed to other things more interesting, he continued to accompany the lions just for a little while, the next feeding for the elephants aren’t till an hour later anyways. But he noticed someone still standing around here, seeming to be paying more attention doodling in his book than anything else. From inside the enclosure, he leaned over and greeted with a smile, “Whacha got there?”
