"Mom, no." Cordelia said in a blunt tone. "You stole my boyfriend.”
A hand rested on the door knob of her mother's room, Cordelia sighed, telling herself that if it was locked she would just go back to bed. When she turned the knob the door surprisingly popped open so she nudged it more open and with a clack her cane was hitting the floor, she followed it inside the room that she already knew fairly well.
It was late, but as far as Cordelia knew Fiona never really slept much. "Fiona?" She asked as she used one hand to locate her mother's bed and sit down on it. "I have a favor I need to ask you." She said quietly, not even waiting for her mother's response. She thought she would be more capable, stronger. They kept saying she was strong but she wasn't. The witch was helpless, scared, useless.
"I want you to fix my eyes."
"The treatment is strong, but lasts only so long."
"Good." Cordelia said softly. She didn’t know what else to say to this woman. The woman who her entire life seemed indestructible, her dying mother. “It’s about time something came around and killed you.”
