«The new Training Centre has been in operation since 6 March, when the first course started, so that a steady stream of participants has had ample opportunity to test its facilities. The range of courses on the prospectus is wide and caters for all those directly concerned with the design and construction of buildings, including civil engineers and those in associated industries. Two types of course are offered to architects: one is a five-day course dealing with the specification and supervision of concrete construction; the other is a two-day course on surface finishes.»
