Wanted to share this sketch-page-esque piece I made of the hero of WGAS.
Good morning, everyone!
We all know Bo Burnham is a phenomenal writer, right? Everything he pens is gold, in my opinion, and I'm always trying to locate more of his obscure writing over the years.
Case in point: I've collected as many examples of Bo'a penned items from throughout his career and I just posted this article on my website today—check it out here!
Bo considers himself to be a writer first and foremost. In addition to his booming comedy career, Bo has penned an entire book of poetry cal
From a book foreword to a short-lived blog and article in the LA Times, Bo has written a lot of items over the years. And I've added two fantastic interviews about his specific writing process for Eighth Grade to my post.
Did I miss any pieces of writing? Please let me know and I'll be sure to credit you for discovering more of his works! ✌🏼

boburnham: My mother’s full, unedited video from the Writer’s Guild Awards last night. You can quietly hear me tell her to turn it off at the end because I was certain I was gonna lose. Moment ruined. Night made! Thank you WGA!

WGAS: HP Progress.
There's been a bit of a progress stall, I won't lie. I haven't had the motivations or ideas to write anything recently, and I'm honestly thinking of waiting until I get to college to start writing again. I'll be taking an English course in my first semester, and I have hopes that that'll help me with my motivation [as well as like. my grammar and shit] for the third chapter.
I also just have to entirely figure out my direction for Olethros. I know what it is for Alexeo, because he has challenges to overcome and a goal to achieve, but Olethros doesn't quite have those challenges as much. He's on top of the world. I know what I want to do for his book, however, it's just that I don't really know what I want to do for him in Alexeo's book. Perhaps some folks could help me brainstorm or something? I don't know. I'll figure it out eventually.
Chapter two of When Gods Are Silent: Heaven's Punishment has officially been fully released !! Everything is completely revised, and the tags have been updated accordingly. I hope everyone who reads it has something nice to say, as I've put a lot of work into this chapter and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
Starting in an entirely different place with entirely different characters is probably disorienting, and it might feel like another chapter one, but I promise the suspense is worth it. I had more of a plan and a direction for this chapter, and I feel like it made it more exciting than the first chapter.
Enjoy! Please share it btw!!!
