The most basic things which anyone should really know about me are that I am an adult, I have a job and life to attend to and may not always be the most active, and -- even though I am pretty open about my life -- I would prefer people not search for any social media which I have not provided myself. Speaking of social media, I am primarily active on Discord and semi-active on Toyhou.se. If you would like to contact me outside of Fandom, and would like a faster response, I would recommend you message me on Discord: my account is "cairocaine", without the quotations. Any other socials which I may have are either not used enough to be named, or are only used for specific reasons. Anyways, now that that stuff has been put out of the way, you can call me Cairo!! I currently reside in the great and epically boring state of Wisconsin, USA, and find myself wanting to move out of here more and more every single year. I work a job part time to make sure I can afford to live, and I just graduated from High School and will soon be attending a four year college!! Yippee! How exciting. If you'd like to take a few guesses about me, or see how good of a friend you are to me before you continue to the next sections, I have a buddymeter here which I would love for people to play!!
I'd like to take the time to introduce myself, and hope you take the time to read it.
First of all, you can call me Cairocaine or Cairo, and my pronouns are she/ste/xe/ey !
For other such names and pronouns, you can see my pronouns page here.
Secondly, I have quite a few socials which you can find here and a discord server here.
BYI
- I don't have an official dni and will simply avoid or block you if you make me uncomfortable, but please do not interact with me if you match basic dni criteria.
- I'm not very active on creator platforms: I much prefer discord + instagram and speaking to people in dms on those platforms than in public.
- I don't do too well with texting conversations and tend to misinterpret what people say very often, even with tone indicators.
- If i seem passive aggressive or argumentative, I'm likely not trying to be and simply saying the first thing that comes to mind.
Anyways, onto the fun stuff!
What are my interests ?
italics means it is a favorite fixation of mine.
My personal project, Grey Bees by Andrey Kurkov, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Epic: The Musical, Gorillaz, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, ATLA, LOK, dungeons and dragons, and roleplaying. There's probably more that I'm just forgetting at the moment.
What do I plan to post with this account ?
Not only do I plan to just respond to posts which interest me, and repost things which appeal to me and the vibe which I am going for here. General Tumblr activities, really, I would think they are.
But I also plan to post about a personal project called When Gods Are Silent [WGAS].
"What is WGAS about?" you might ask !! Well, WGAS is about 2 people -- Olethros and Alexeo -- who have been put into a position where those who could have been acquaintances, friends even, are enemies by the laws of the Azara [the world they live in]. Olethros lived his life in hatred of gods to such an extent that he became what he despised with that black heart of his, and Alexeo, born to a land of demons and cursed to wield a blade of unyielding death, saw only peace in the land above which Olethros seems to call hell on Azara.
In this project, I want to dig into just how far a religion can go with the faith of its people, and what a society could do if their ideology expanded into the rules of the universe. If one were to believe death escapable, would it become such with enough thought and credence? If one were to think they could eliminate those told to be "immortal", could they?
These are the kinds of questions which I am looking to answer, and I'm hoping to get a lot farther into this project as time goes on. I do have to say that it is probably what I've made the most lore for period, and what I'd believe I would get famous for if it actually reaches an audience. I doubt it actually will, unless people ask to be a part of said audience.
I've always had a neat little fascination with the power of belief, and how people are said to be able to fundamentally change themselves if they simply reach within their minds and catch their flaws, their functions, and these little things people normally wouldn't notice everyday. When you lie, can people tell? Can they see you glance off to the side? Can you see it? Well, some of you may not have such a tell for lying, I know Olethros doesn't.
Currently, this project has over 15,000 words put into it's worldbuilding, and it's going to have way more once I have the time and motivation to yield.
So, tell me, are you interested? If you are, then I'd follow this account and maybe even keep an eye out for the tag #wgas .
now that i think about it, kami's first talk with shinsou is Such a brilliant move from him, its kind of insane.
kaminari is the exact and worse thing shinsou hates and is jealous of about hero course. he doesnt care about being a hero out of noble reason, we actually dont know why he wants to be a hero.
in raw power, hes among the strongest. he has a literal textbook flashy quirk. in ultra analysis his personality is described as "all flashy, no substance".
he got top 16 in the sports festival, lost his first 1v1 and still got almost three hundred nominations. top 5 of his class. his most likely worked both his internships under a top 4 hero and definitely under all the lurkers, so at the time 2 of the top 10 pros. and we dont hear a word from him about it, probably because of how little he cared about it.
hes literally everything shinsou would hate.
except, after their first real conversation, shinsou is left with literal stars in his eyes.
and thats all to do with the absolute emotional/interpersonal genius of kaminari.
its almost clinical if you analyse it, the way kaminari checks Literally Every Box to raise himself in shinsou eyes.
he quickly accepts him as part of the team, he tells him he likes him, he acknowledges shinsous feelings and words and tells him hes already as much of a hero as the rest of them.
that one little monologue is literally every dream of acknowledgement shinsous ever had.
in that one interaction, based on shinsous two monologues about how he hates the type of person kaminari is from Literally Over Half A Year Prior and one monologue beforehand, kami pins and zeroes on shinsou every defense and dream, and tears down the walls shinsous put up and acknowledges and praises his ambition.
all while revealing nothing about himself.
kami could start a cult and bring down hero society in like half a year without using his quirk, actually
