"Which one of you damn kids took the keys to my bike?"
"Alright kid, spill: I can tell somethin's eating at you."
//alright gang😂I know you’re all here for Wolverine, so who wants a starter? Please like this post and specify which muse if you’re a multi-muse blog!
Remember, this is my own unique Wolverine variant, not Fox canon or the Deadpool&Wolverine variant. He’s close to XMCU Logan, but there are some changes~ please keep that in mind!
//OKAY I'm adding Logan to my character pages and a couple things to note:
This is a variant of Logan exclusive to the Wicked Game Universe. I feel like we all know this but just in case XD This is the XWGU, not the XMCU lol
Secondly, in this Logan's timeline, the events of Origins take place during WWII. I mention this briefly in the Prime Universe history page but stating it again while it's on my mind. Emma Frost is among the mutants Logan rescues from Stryker's island. Scott Summers is not, as he was not born in the 1940s.
Thirdly, Logan is the one from which the X-men as we come to know them in this universe grow. He stumbles upon Raven, Hank and the others in the 60s sometime after the Cuban Missile crisis while they're hiding out in Westchester. Lost and pretty traumatized from the way things ended on the beach, Logan ends up checking in on them now and then, until he eventually moves in. He doesn't form a team or anything, but his presence allows Raven and the others to feel safer and have some kind of structure.
While this Logan is similar to his movie counterpart in a lot of ways, he's also got much stronger dad energy, and is calmer/more controlled by the time James and Emily are adults. He pulled himself together because the others needed him to. That does not mean, however, he won't get mad if you take his bike without asking.
He also has most of his memories back, although occasionally struggles with unsettling flashback snippits he doesn't quite understand. In the modern era though (late 80s or actual modern day, whatever's convenient) most of his memories have returned, including his birth name, though he still goes by Logan.
Headcanon: James (both)
James can sing pretty well. It isn’t a talent he thinks much about, as theatre/music were never high up among his interests.
That said, James Xavier absolutely sings to himself from time to time, and occasionally gets into playful duets with whoever’s around. Rumor has it he roped Logan into it once, not that the Wolverine will admit it outright.
James Darkholme, on the other hand, has stage fright and only sings in the shower…although I like to think by the time he’s a dad, he’s more open about singing along with his family 💕
Here’s to the New Year (drabble)
//So I wrote this last year around this time. I just didn’t have a blog to share it on. Although some things have changed for my muses in a year I thought I’d upload this anyway.
Happy New Year!

Sometimes ten years makes all the difference.
That was the thought running through James Xavier’s head this evening. He was seated in the family room—distinct from the living room as this was smaller and almost exclusively reserved for his family as opposed to the growing student body. One of the many changes made over the last decade but not necessarily a bad one. The Xavier family and all extended members had a rough and rocky history: they deserved a space to let their hair down or however the saying went. Be the man and/or woman behind the curtain and just...unplug. On the off-chance someone somewhere needed something, well, that’s what telepathy was for. Mister Xavier to the rescue in record time. James smiled to himself, nestling further against the sofa he currently occupied. He remembered a time his powers caused more trouble than solutions. Another welcomed change in the last decade.
“What’s so funny?” Ventured a voice. James met the gray eyes of the woman seated beside him.
“Ahh, nothin’ Em,” he replied with a lazier grin. “Just reminiscing.”
Emily Clearwater was his best friend and significant other: she was one of if not the first major change in his life all those years ago. When he’d been a boy of fifteen and she a girl near-about that age—her Time Lord DNA made it difficult to tell. It worked out though, he mused, because he too aged at a slower rate. They’d been through hell and back, he and Emily had: sometimes hand in hand, others with teeth bared and bleeding hearts. Here they were now about to start a family.
Warmth filled James’ yellow eyes—eyes like his mother’s, but only the pupils—and he shuffled up just slightly.
Here’s a dark thought for you:
What if “the worst Wolverine” Wade recruited had been a Wicked Game variant, only one where instead of getting shitfaced, he was away on a bike trip and found out what happened to his family through a news report several days later 😢💀
That kind of horror would cause anyone to break. Especially the man who literally raised and shaped the X-men into who they became
(Honestly this is probably a version of the story where Charles doesn’t live at the mansion because I feel like Professor X would’ve at least been able to reach Logan through Cerebro.)
//😂 I love that my recent popular posts are just all Logan. I’m having such fun with him! Love the Wolverine forever❤️
Hopefully soon I’ll get back to writing here.
