When I saw this sari I immediately knew what I should sew out of it, so I was very happy to win that auction. The fabric with a wide woven border and round woven flowers perfectly resembles the fashions of Columbus, Shakespeare and Queen Elizabeth times. I also had a chance to make a huge ruffled Spanish collar adorned with lace. Several long chaplets of pearls compliment the set: nobility in XVI loved the pearls greatly and tried to wear them as big and massive as possible.
