Can’t say the callback to ch40 and their unfortunate discussion didn’t hurt. T_T
That being said, while Tartar mostly doesn’t talk out of mistrust (that adult witches won’t help protecting Coustas), I’m thinking Coco would have maybe talked to Qifrey, had she not noticed Ininia.
I know Qifrey knows there is something wrong and, since he took Coco in, I’d like to see him being one of the few on Coustas’ side. At the same time, Coco didn’t hate the way the world is as much as Coustas currently does, but if no adult steps up, they’ll lose more than one kid’s faith in them.
