So back in highschool I used to play classical double bass, but I had to quit when I moved from home. As I was only renting a bass I had to give it back to the school. Since then I have really really missed playing. It is like 5 years ago. So I have constantly been on the look out for cheap/cheapish basses and lessons in my area, but i never had any luck.
But!! This week I found an electric stand up bass used online for like 7k nok (600$ or something) and I caved. So now I finally have a instrument again!! I had to leave it at my parents house for now, but by the end of summer I will finally be able to play at home again!! I can't wait. So you can look forwards to more bass updates in the early fall🍁🍁
I got to try it out on my old bass-guitar amplifier and it honestly sounds and feels great!! I think it is a bit easier to play than a typical autistic one cause of the pickup. But it has been a really long time since I last played so I might be wrong. Anyways I just really felt the need to share some happy news😁 but goood I can't wait to start practicing again I have become quite rusty hehe
