Whale sketch No.2 (or is it technically No.3 if the first one had two whales??) 😅 ✍🏻 Anyways, I’m working on a new painting and I am SUPER excited about it 🙌🏻 Almost all my sketches are studies, because I am trying to learn how to draw certain things over and over so that eventually I can draw from my imagination without stalling when I don’t remember what something looks like 😁 ✍🏻 An idea for a painting popped into my head the other day and I decided to push myself to work mainly from my imagination and create my own pose reference instead of getting bogged down searching for that ‘perfect’ reference. Im also practicing drawing whales because they are not something I am familiar with and I want to paint them!
