Wharfer - Scenes of the Tourist
Scenes of the Tourist by Wharfer is good, but not great. 6.7/10 Source: http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/22752-scenes-of-the-tourist/
The piano is quiet, meditative. The vocals are throaty and almost coy. It's in the vein of the somber moments of John Cale or Nick Cave. And it's all too short. Or maybe it's just right, thanks to mastercrafting of Brooklyn-based Wharfer. -Dylan

Kyle W., Brooklyn.
I caught Kyle randomly in Transmitter Park on one of my last evenings in Brooklyn. We ate some ice-cream together. It was nice. He is nice. And makes nice rootsy/ballsy music under the name Wharfer — check out his jams via Bandcamp.
