Since everyone else is making these things.

Even though Zebede was one of the first trolls revealed, this blog didn’t show up until a couple months ago.

I was in the hospital, dehydrated and mentally screaming at myself as my vision faded in and out of existence, when a random thought or two popped into my head.

1. Zebede didn’t have a What Blog yet

2. I hadn’t eaten anything of substance in the past four days.

Let’s just focus on the first one for simplicity’s sake.

In the hospital bed, I pulled out my phone and went to tumblr, made a new blog and tagged a few of the OGs. “Can I join the cult” were the first words I ever typed on this account. Hell, one of the first posts involved me being in the ER.

You guys have changed my fucking life, and you don’t even know who I am. All... close to 500 of you who are following me, the other What Blogs, everyone. And I can’t thank you enough.

But who cares if whatever we came up with is going to get erased in canon? “Finally the Signless will have his day” is good enough a clue that whatpumpkin knows we exist. Maybe they’ll borrow our quirks. Take small snippets of the personalities we’ve made at the very least.

We basically jumpstarted Update Culture. We started revolts and revolutions, made alliances and changed them, given these Trolls that we only know a couple details about and fleshed them out completely. And if that’s not fucking amazing then Kanaya Maryam herself can kick through my laptop screen and chainsaw my face in half.

So who gives a damn about Act 2 and what it’ll change about these characters. We don’t need to kill off the Blogs if something changes.

Tyzias will still have random shit land up in her mug. Daraya is still gonna be in detention. Mallek is still going to have a fuckton of piercings. Chahut will have a scrapbook. Cirava is still going to dedicate themselves to the aesthetic, Charun is still going to eat worms. Galekh still needs citations, Tagora will speak and make everyone lose. Marvus will still run the shitshow, Wanshi is still going to be in the Soldier Purrbeasts fandom, and fucking hell, if I’m listing all of you guys I’m gonna go insane.

I’ll still need to find my bees.

Every single person here has changed my life beyond human (or troll) comprehension. And there’s no way I’ll ever thank you enough.

So let’s just make the last troll call an epic one, alright?
