Do you ever just tell yourself that relationships are:
▪more work
▪and annoyances,
▪and that they're not worth it.
So you go into school/university with the mindset of being single and care free
but then you catch yourself falling for a person and kind of want them to let you love them.
And school goes on for a few weeks
and those damn feelings get stronger and stronger
And you are happy
and since those feelings are the strongest they have ever been you end up going to school events in hopes of seeing that one person
And you aren't looking for a person because you are just enjoying your time alone and learning more about yourself
and when you go to that event you see that person and they noticed you and when they smiled at you, you learned you really wanted that person in your life more than anything in this world?
Being alone opens doors for self discovery and appreciation.
Enjoy the little things
