addicted to love | victoire & liam
Liam Wood was not a serious man. At a young age he was called innocent, and eventually as a teen he was naive. Now, as a grown man who would hit 30 in a couple of years, Liam was just careless. - but probably one of the happiest people around.
But contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t always fun and games. A devoted quidditch player, Liam made it a priority to stay at the top of his game. Having Carver as a team captain put a slight damper on his training routine seeing as how he couldn’t take his brother seriously. Still, sneaking out of practices early and skipping team meetings gave Liam more free time than he knew what to do with. So in an attempt to be, as his mother would say, “more responsible”, Liam got himself a part time job.
He never really pictured himself as a plant guy. Herbology had come fairly easy to him during his time at Hogwarts but aside from that Liam wasn’t passionate about plants...but he was passionate about Victoire Weasley.
Despite the fact that she had been two years ahead of him and in a different house, it had been love at first sight. He never spoke more than 12 words to her during their time at Hogwarts but they had grown close over the past few years (he really owed Rose for that). One day Liam was running into the Tilted Tullip for a last minute birthday present for Carver and the next Vic was hiring him - thus, the start of a beautiful friendship.
“Hey!” he greeted, a huge grin forming on his face when Vic finally walked into the shop. Liam, who had been in the shop since 7am, was currently sporting a white apron with bright purple tulips all over it as he continued to sweep the floor the muggle way. “How’s it going? I mean I know it’s only noon so it’s still pretty early to say - things could be going great and then suddenly - or I mean you could’ve had a shit morning and now your here so it gets better because seriously, Vic, have I mentioned how awesome it is to work here?” Liam finally stopped talking to take a breath. She was so pretty.
