My craft closet finally organized & the resulting pile of “wtf was I thinking keeping all this 💩?!?!?” ~ 2.5 hours of dragging stuff out, sorting through it, filling little fabric bins, organizing those bins on the shelves, and finally able to sit on sofa to allow all my muscles to scream at me for putting them through the agony of sitting on the floor <and subsequently having to get up off the floor numerous times>. ~ Needless to say, I am not purchasing any more fiber until I use up at least half of what I kept! ~ #craftorganization #whatachore #chronicpain #whydoidothis https://www.instagram.com/p/CVGkd6kv_CN/?utm_medium=tumblr

Chores Distribution

I've outsourced car washing to hubBy because man should naturally be the ones to wash the car. I've outsourced washing the toilet to hubBy because I've seen him do it and he's so efficient at it! I've outsourced washing the dishes to hubBy because the drying rack is too high for me to reach (Thanks to the developer for the poor design or my lack of my father's height genes). After hearing my uncle's comments that the clothes drying rack seems too high for me too, I'm possibly outsourcing that to hubBy too. AND now, after getting conjunctivitis from all the packing, I should probably outsource packing to hubBy too!

Other than that, I'm volunteering to do all the household chores. =) (excluding killing of pests)

Wifey Chores

On 24 March 2011, 6.30 p.m., Mrs Teo changed the bedsheets all by herself for the 1st time! One chore a day seems just nice. Would it be possible to keep it at that?

Wifey chores

I'm so undomesticated that even cutting a new fruit is an adventure! =S So, today, I learnt to cut a kiwi on my own! Not just in half! I've also learnt to cook mee sua, and theoretically, porridge (Filippino style coz I learnt by watching By's helper), and vicariously meat omelette (coz I told the helper how to make it and I only beat the egg and mixed it with minced pork but By's helper cooked it). I'm so excited about moving into our own home asap so that I can try cooking for some volunteer guinea pigs. Anyone? =P

wifey chores

Byron was sick from Friday till...today?? Anyway, i nursed him and I'm proud to say that when he visited the doctor on Sunday, the doctor said that the strepsils he had been taking helped to prevent tonsilitis. I shall claim the credit that I've been making sure he took his medicine and taking strepsils and drinking redoxon (Vit C). =D However, I did tell him that I felt bored having to stay home on Sat coz he was sick. =S oops.

Well, the first wifey chore I had to embark on was to handwash his clothes during our trip coz he only brought FIVE sets of clothes for a TWELVE-day trip to a country during summer. I hereby declare that I hate handwashing clothes (but I'm still willing to do it). But as time goes by, I may dislike some other chores instead. Thank God I wouldn't have to hate washing the toilets because we have established that that shall be Byron's chore. haha...

The other wifey chore that I've been doing regularly is to pack our room because we're both experts at messing up the room by leaving our stuff everywhere.

The next wifey chore I shall try to do everyday is to wash my own dishes. Even though we're not staying in our own home yet, and there is a helper around, I thought I should start small so that I would not become overwhelmed by all the other chores when we move into our own home (hopefully) next year.
