She stumbled back as Aemond took a step towards her.
“What th-” She stuttered, confused. “Why are you here?” She hissed.
“You love to forget that you’re my wife, uh?” Aemond asked, taking another step forward, grabbing two glasses of wine from the table, giving her one. “Let’s toast to our sweet reunion.” Aemond said, his voice sounded teasing but his expression was cold. “And to my dear friend James, who made it happen.”
The glass almost fell from her hand, her chest, her heart, clenched, like she had been shot or stabbed,
Betrayal.
Deep, painful, shattering betrayal.
She had been played.
“What?” She mumbled, her voice weak as she stared at him. “James…” She shook her head, stepping back as her eyes filled with tears. “No.”
“Yes.” Aemond took a step forward at every step she took backwards. “Did you really think I’d let another man fuck you? Kiss you?”
Is that why James didn’t kiss her?
Because of him?
He scoffed as he put down the glass, and snatched hers from her hand.
No.
So it was all planned? James asked her out just to make sure she wouldn’t have messed with another man?
“What is it?” Aemond smiled cruelly as he moved his hand towards her face, his fingertips grazing her cheek. “Got a little crush for him? Maybe because he brought you out to that restaurant that I chose?” He smirked. “I liked that dress.” He leaned closer.
God, it was so humiliating.
“Fuck you.” She hissed, baring her teeth.
He was there. Watching them.
She had never been free. He only let her have the illusion.
“You are the most hateful, fucking piece of shit I’ve ever known–”
His hand wrapped around her neck in record time, squeezing tightly and making her choke before she could even finish spitting her insults.
“Careful what you say to your husband, wife.” Aemond growled. “I’m showing you a generous amount of patience and control, letting you have your stupid vacation after you wrecked my room, and ran with my money.” He squeezed her throat tighter, cutting off her air.
She let out a choked groan, her hands wrapping around his wrist and arm, moving frantically, trying to unwrap his hand from her neck and push him away.
“I told you I’d chase you, didn’t I?” He growled in her ear.
“You said a lot of things that you clearly didn’t mean–” She said with the little breath she had.
Aemond laughed at her, releasing her neck just when her face was getting a deeper shade of red.
She fell down on her knees, coughing and gasping for hair.
“Like what?” He hissed as he crouched down to be at her level. “What made you run so far from me, uh?”
As she looked up at him, she clearly saw fury in his eye. But not only that.
There was also… disappointment.
Despite her better judgment, that got to her, but she didn’t let it deter her.
“You’re a shitty husband.” She hissed the moment she could speak again, even if her voice was still rough from the choking. “Did you have fun with Floris while I was away?” She couldn’t stop herself now. “Did you invite her over for dinner like you wanted to? Let her warm your cock? Did you laugh at how stupid your wife was for believing you cared about her?!” Her voice kept rising. “You fucking disgust me.” She hissed as she leaned closer to his face. “You use people, you used me.” She clenched her jaw as she looked at his face getting redder. “You treated me like shit, like I was some fucking sex doll for your own plasure!” She yelled.
His jaw looked like it might break any moment from how set it was.
“Don’t talk like you didn’t fucking come like a wanton whore on my cock every time I shoved it inside you.” He snarled. He stood back up, looming over her. “So all this theatre was all because you’re jealous?” He scoffed. “Dumb bitch.” He grabbed her arm and pulled her up on her feet. “How many times will I have to tell you that I’m not fucking Floris, and that I don’t plan to even sniff that cunt, uh?” He shoved her to the side, making her stumble in what she recognised as the living room. “I don’t want to fuck her. I want to fuck you. As many times as I physically can.”
She hated how his words made her body burn, and her cunt wet.
“So what?” She growled. “You humiliated me in front of her, making it very clear that you don’t give a shit about me!” She yelled. “I’m done being a fucking sex toy!” She punched his chest, but he didn’t even budge. “Why do you even want to stay in this marriage?! What the fuck do you care if I fuck someone else or if I run?!” She pushed him. “Is it all about fucking possession to you?” She looked up at him, shaking in anger. “Then fucking divorce me and find youself someone that is willing to be just a furniture in your house, because I’ll never, ever settle to that!” She screamed.
Aemond grabbed a handful of her hair and pulled, hard.
“Shut. Up.” He snarled. “Just shut the fuck up. Stop acting like you figured me out, because you clearly didn’t.”
His mouth crushed on her without a warning, stealing her breath away.
The kiss wasn’t gentle, wasn't kind, it was a pure fight of control.
It was like he was trying to fuse his tongue in her mouth.
“Keep fighting back.” He growled against her lips. “But don’t run away. I swear, I’ll put a tracker inside you if I have to.” His single eye looked down at her with an intensity that made her legs feel like jelly. “If I didn't care about you, I wouldn’t have bothered to come all the way here to come and get you.” He hissed.
“Don’t mess with my head.” She wanted it to sound like a warning, but it came out like a plea.
He looked down at her in silence, studying her face.
“What do you want?” He asked her. He kept her head leaned back so she couldn’t look away, his other hand covering the side of her neck and jaw.
“I want to be free.” She stated, desperately.
His hand pressed harder against her face and he kissed her again. He pulled away and pressed his forehead against her, forcing her to lean back her head as he pushed against it.
“Not possible.” He whispered against her lips. “You’re mine. My wife. My woman.”
“Oh, go to hell.” She hissed. “You never treated me like one.” This time she pushed against his forehead.
“Do I disgust you, wife?” He asked as his hand gripped her hips, making her step backwards until her back hit the wall. He slid a hand between her legs, finding without hesitation her panties. “Then why are you wet?” He growled as he moved his finger, teasing and caressing her slit through her panties.
She bit her lip hard to not moan.
“Because I came here thinking James would fuck me –” She growled back. Aemond’s free hand quickly moved to her jaw, squeezing her cheeks tightly as he pushed her head back, making her hit the wall.
She hissed at the pain, and glared at Aemond with all the hate in her body.
“Fucking cunt.” He growled. His fingers pushed her panties to the side, and dove in between her lower lips, circling her entrance, but never touching her clit or entering her. “You think you want to be free? Or be with a man like James?” He scoffed. “Don’t make me laugh. That’s not what you want.”
She glared up at him, her hips trying to follow his fingers for some stimulation, some pleasure, but he always pulled them away.
“What do I want, since you think you know me so well?” She hissed.
“You want someone to tell you that you did good.” His finger slipped inside her, two, bottoming out to the knuckle.
She moaned and leaned her head back, her hips bucking, but his fingers remained still inside her, unmoving.
“You want people to be proud of you. You need acceptance, validation, acknowledgement.”
She was breathless.
She felt naked, exposed, and embarrassed.
Was she so simple to read? Was it that pathetic that she simply wanted someone to notice her and be enough as she was?
“I fucking hate you-“ She gasped and cried loudly as he started to move his fingers suddenly, rubbing inside her roughly, fast, his bicep flexing with how hard he was moving his hand.
“Yeah, I’ve made myself quite hatable.” He braced his arm on the wall beside her head, his hand moved on the top of her head, his thumb caressing her forehead. “I wanted you to hate me, so you’d leave me the fuck alone.” He hissed, his nose an inch from hers. “But you were driving me absolutely crazy. Sneaking out, doing whatever you wanted, talking to me.” He groaned, as if those memories were still frustrating him. “Then…” He scoffed. “Then you started talking back to me. The fucking nerve.” He growled, actually baring his upped teeth. “I hated it so much. And I hated how it got me hard every. Fucking. Time.”
She cried loudly, panting heavily as she grasped the arm of the hand between her legs like her life depended on it.
He had fucked her fast, hard, and rough, but this, this was beyond whatever he did to her before.
This was on another level.
“Stop-“ Her knees buckled, the pleasure so intense it was starting to make her head dizzy.
“You don’t want me to stop.” He replied immediately, as if he expected her resistance. “You want me to keep going. You want to feel good.” He leaned closer, moving his lips to her ear, his nose pressing against her temple. “I want to make you feel good.” He whispered. “Because if I have learned something from this fucked up play I put on for you…” He turned so his forehead was pressed against hers and he could look at her. “Is that I hate you by someone else’s side. And apparently, I care for you more than I’ve let myself know.”
Her eyes snapped open and met his.
She almost felt suffocating under his gaze.
His pupil was so widened she could barely see the colour of his eye, and her reflection looked like it was falling into a black hole, sucked into darkness.
It felt oddly addictive.
“Come.” His order was the last straw.
With a loud cry, she came harder than she ever had, and her legs failed to keep her standing.
She crumbled on the floor, but didn’t hit hard because Aemond held her and accompanied her down.
She sobbed, hugging her knees to her chest and hiding her face in it.
She must have looked so pathetic.
“I fucking hate you —“ She sobbed. “I hate you so much-“
“Keep hating me then.” He interrupted her, his voice calm. “But I’m taking you home with me.” He grabbed her ankle and tugged her towards him, forcing her to open her ball form and look up at him. “You’re not leaving me again. Fight me all you want, but from now on, you’ll only sleep on my bed. You’ll stay in my home. And you’ll fucking act like my wife. Because you are.” He tugged again at her uncle until she found herself on his lap. “And you’ll never be able to strip yourself of that title. I won’t let you.”
That maybe things were changing, that maybe she could have been, after all, satisfied with this marriage.
Aemond wasn’t a talkative one, that much she had learned. He wasn’t one for sweet talk, or romantic gestures.
But she had heard it.
I’d come.
She had felt the shift in their relationship after that.
She had been sold to Aemond, forced to marry him to settle her father’s debts.
But she knew there was something more to that now, she wasn’t just the wife he didn’t want, and he wasn’t the husband she hated.
So she was ready to make an effort, again.
It was with that mindset that she walked through the opening doors of the elevator.
Aemond’s company looked much more formal and elegant than what she had imagined in her mind.
To be honest, she pictured closely to a shadowy, dark place, that in her opinion resembled Aemond’s persona.
As she walked past a few employees, her posture straight and elegant, she realised she had no idea of where she was going, but a secretary quickly stopped her before she could wander further.
“Good evening, how can I help you?” The young woman, dressed formally, smiled warmly, and she quickly reciprocated.
“I’m here to see Aemond Targaryen.” She said confidently.
The secretary tried not to react, but she noticed her eyebrows raising a bit in surprise and suspicion.
“Do you have an appointment?” She asked then, looking her up and down.
She dressed prettily.
No, she dressed sexy.
From her buttoned up silk blouse, not so buttoned, to her pencil skirt, to her heels and the garter belts.
She was a fucking taboo, but she couldn’t care less.
She felt sexy, she felt powerful, she felt desired.
Aemond was usually the one who came to her for sex, but today she found herself wanting to go to him.
She put on her best smile.
“No.” She said, straightening her posture and raising her head in a boost of confidence. “I’m his wife. I don’t need an appointment to see him.” She said confidently.
The secretary stepped back, as if physically returning to her place, her smile tightening.
“This way.” She nodded and walked her through the corridors.
She could feel the palm of her hands starting to sweat, her heart pounding harder every step she took.
A deeper part of her that she was deliberately ignoring, longed to smell his perfume, to feel his strong arms wrap around her, holding her close, securely.
Safe, even.
“Here.” The voice of the secretary snapped her out of her thoughts.
They were standing in front of a large glass door, where she glanced quickly at a part of the office before turning back to the secretary.
Giving her a small nod, the secretary then turned and walked away.
Left alone, she took a deep breath and dried her sweaty hands on her shirt.
Why the hell was she nervous?
It was Aemond. Asshole Aemond.
Well, maybe not so asshole Aemond.
She knocked at the door, then without waiting for an answer, she stepped inside.
Aemond was sitting at his desk, and… he wasn’t alone.
A… beautiful woman was standing beside him, leaned over desk, where her hands were placed, as they looked at some papers.
They were close. So close.
She recognised her immediately from the event, the same woman she had been jealous of.
Floris.
When Aemond raised his head to look at her, his expression did not warm, or softened.
He didn’t look as pleased as she thought he would have been by her visit, but she didn’t let that deter her.
After all, it was stoic, silent Aemond.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
No hello, no welcome, no anything.
The tone of his voice wasn’t sharp, but it was cold.
“I needed to talk to you.” She lied, straightening up her posture again.
Keep your chin up. He wants you.
She moved her foot forward, the cut of her skirt showing off her garter belt. She looked at the woman beside him, then back at Aemond. “In private…” She bit her lower plump lip.
She was sure Aemond would have sent Floris away.
She knew he understood that it wasn’t talking that she wanted to do in his office.
I’d come.
“Not now.” He looked back down at the paper, talking again with Floris, who gave her a smirk, looking at her through her eyelashes.
Whatever hope she had, died.
Nothing fucking changed.
Nothing.
She took a step back, half stumbling, but she quickly regained herself and lifted her chin again.
She didn't linger to look at them, she spared herself that humiliation.
She turned to walk away, as fast as she could.
Idiot, idiot, idiot.
She was so fucking stupid, what was she thinking?
That after he said something out of his character, it meant he cared about her?
That she could have been happy?
Fucking fool.
She stormed home with shame and fuming anger towards herself that was warming her chest, more than warming, burning.
She was on fire.
She hated it, she hated being so stupid.
She hated how Floris had looked down at her, she hated how she dressed, she hated thinking she would have been sexy.
It was s clichè, how the fuck was that sexy?
She hated her life, her father for selling her off to an asshole of a man, Aemond for being that asshole.
“Fuck!” She yelled as she threw her purse in her room.
She was seething.
She grabbed the blanket off the bed and threw it on the other side of the room.
She was just a warm body for him.
She screamed as she tore the pillow open.
He was just a toy for him, to use when he needed to, but not when she needed to.
She stalked in his room and opened the closet and started snatching all the clothes off, throwing them on the floor, ripping some expensive ones.
Fuck him. Fuck his life, his clothes, his house, his job, his Floris and his goddamn attitude.
She was being immature, but she didn’t care.
What did she have to lose? A good husband? Family?
No.
She had nothing.
She had deluded herself that things would have gone better and in return, she had a door slam to her face, leaving her ashamed and humiliated.
She screamed again as she tore a handful of clothes off the hangers.
He could fucking chest on her with that Floris.
She didn’t care.
She moved to the other side of his room and snatched off a panting from the wall, the framing breaking as it hit the floor.
She looked around, and spotted a vase that looked expensive. She stalked to the nightstand and grabbed it, throwing it with all her force to the ground.
She was panting and sweating when she stopped wrecking his bedroom.
She looked around the mess she made, and her eyes fell back to the closet.
At the bottom there was a large suitcase.
She took it to throw it around, but she stopped herself.
She dropped it to the ground and looked at it.
A suitcase to travel. To go away. To run.
She grabbed the handle and ran back to her room.
She opened her own closet, and started to throw clothes into it, underwear, shows, jewellery.
Then, she opened her laptop and browsed for the first flight that had seats available.
When she found it, she stood up and walked back in his room, picking up one of his credit cards.
She stopped mid step, looking at the card, then her laptop.
She realised she didn’t feel angry anymore.
She felt calm, sure.
He could fuck Floris.
She was doing something for herself.
She was running to find her happiness.
She took a deep breath and finished buying the plane ticket.
She was done.
Done with the life she never chose. Done with Aemond.
She would have only missed his cock anyway.
With a newfound calmness, she zipped closed the suitcase and stood up.
She calmly changed her clothes into a sweater and sweatpants, grabbed her passport, credit card, ID, her phone.
She grabbed the suitcase and walked down the stairs.
She stopped only at the door to slip off her wedding ring, and threw it over her shoulder, then, she stepped out.
She had always felt uneasy going to the shop, to a bar, or to eat outside alone.
She felt like she could guess the opinion of the other people would have of her, thinking she might be alone because she was a bad person or someone to not have around, she felt like they would probably pity her.
Yet, somehow, she couldn’t care less about what others thought of her at that moment.
Not when she was laying on a deckchair with a drink in her hand, and a perfect sunset mirrored on the sea in front of her.
She had no worries.
Aemond surely wouldn’t come looking for her, she knew that much.
He didn’t care about her, and she made peace with how much of a fool she had been to think the opposite.
It was easy to make peace with past mistakes when the view was so good, and life was so easy.
She wrapped her lips back around the straw, and drank more of her drink.
She paused as she heard a deep, masculine voice.
“Beautiful, isn’t it?” A guy sat beside her deckchair, on the sand, looking at her with a smile.
She turned to look at him, and she let her eyes, hidden from her sunglasses, wander over him shamelessly.
The guy was hot.
Blonde, tanned, well fit, and long legs.
His smile was beautiful.
“Yeah.” She smiled back. “It is. Very beautiful.” She sat up on the deckchair as she looked at him.
“I’m James.” He said. “I’ve been looking at you.” He flashed her again with a smile.
“Yeah?” She bit her lip, blushing. She pulled her sunglasses over her head, pushing back her hair. James nodded, humming.
“Kept asking myself, if I would come here, and ask her out, would she refuse me? Or maybe…” He raised a hand and ran his finger on her arm, tracing with his eyes the path of his finger. “Would she let me take her to the best date of her life?” He looked back up at her, smiling.
She bit her lip harder, chuckling.
“The best date of my life, uh?” She teased. “Maybe.” She raised her shoulders. “What do you offer?” She turned to lean over the armrest at his side, resting her chin on her palm.
“Dinner at a restaurant, sea view.” He leaned forward. “A good company.” He moved closer. “And a private tour to one of the most special places on this island.”
She couldn’t help but smile too, wider than she ever did in the last few months.
She laughed and shook her head, leaning back in her seat.
“She won’t refuse.” She smiled as she looked at him with the side of her eye.
It was as if his face lightened up, his brows raising, eyes widening.
“What a lucky guy.” He muttered with a smirk, never taking his eyes off her.
She never dated much.
She barely dated, actually. Other than a few flings when she was in high school, her love life has always been pretty miserable.
Once she was out of school, she worked as a waitress, trying to make some money for herself.
Pretty useless, since her father claimed them as his own, and used them for his own fun or to pay his debts.
She had some hookups, but dates?
She hasn’t been one in years.
She was actually nervous and excited. She wanted to make a good impression on James.
Back at her hotel, she started preparing mid afternoon, showering, shaving, blow drying her hair, putting cream, even some bodyglitters.
She wanted to be perfect.
She wanted to feel beautiful, so she would believe every compliment James would give her.
If he would compliment her.
Neither her father or Aemond ever complimented her, in any way on that regard.
Would she shiver in pleasure? Would she be able to accept the compliment, or would she shy away, blushing and look somewhere else?
She didn’t know
She took out of the wardrobe a pink dress that shaded lighter on the edges, reminding the petals of a lily, then put on some low, white heels.
Not too much, not too elegant, not too casual.
The colours all accentuated her tan. The make up was light, but effective.
She was ready.
Ready to have a normal date, a normal night, a normal life.
She walked outside of her room, and the hotel, confidently.
She was going on a date with a beautiful man, who looked kind and gentle, and full of energy.
So not Aemond.
She shook her head to physically kick the thought out of her head.
No, fuck Aemond. No Aemond anymore.
She took a deep breath and walked outside, the chilly fresh hair of the evening making her skin prickle.
James walked up to her with a smile, dressed in linen pants and tight elegant shirt.
She noticed he had wide shoulders, and was much taller than her, even if she wore heels.
Almost as tall as Aemond.
He looked good, no, he looked hot.
She smiled at him, taking a deep breath as she approached him.
“Hey.” She walked up to him, her hands clenching around her purse.
“Hey, yourself.” He caressed her cheek with his thumb, moving her bangs out of her face. “You look beautiful. Breathtaking.” He smiled.
“Thank you.” She smiled, blushing as she looked down.
His smile was too much, she couldn’t help but smile back.
He took her hand, guiding her to his car. He opened the door of the passenger seat for her, and helped her inside.
Gentleman.
She had to bite her lip to keep herself from giggling.
No one ever opened the door for her.
She was just… so happy.
She was free, and happy.
“So how did you end up here?” James asked as he settled in the driver seat and started driving. “You’re staying in a hotel, so it’s a holiday?”
“Yeah. A long holiday.” She answered. “I don’t know if I want to travel more or settle here.” She said honestly. “This place… looks like paradise on earth.”
“Yeah, that is true.” He chuckled. “I was born here, and I lived here all my life. This place gives you opportunities for every kind of adventure. Waves to surf, mountains to climb, woods to explore.”
“You’re an adventurous one?” She asked, looking at his profile.
Oh, he was handsome.
“Never stood still since I was a kid.” He laughed.
Oh, he had dimples.
They arrived at the restaurant, and it was beautiful. Every table was far enough to give the freedom to speak and have privacy, a candle sat on top of each of them, casting a low, romantic glow.
The view of the beach and the sea that mirrored the sky full of stars, and the moon, made the restaurant a perfect package for romanticism.
James put a hand on the small of her back, smiling gently at her as he guided her to their table.
He even pulled back the chair for her to sit.
“I really hope you enjoy the food. It’s pretty good here.” He smiled as he sat in front of her, taking the menu.
“I trust your judgment, I'm not picky about food.” She said, crossing her arms on the table and leaning over, not even glancing at the menu, but keeping her eyes on his beautiful face.
“Good girl.” He murmured before catching the attention of a waiter, and ordering wine and food.
She bit her lip and crossed her legs under the table, squeezing her thighs together.
Maybe his form of love was praising?
She liked that.
She wondered if he also used it in the bedroom, if he would guide her with kind and gentle words towards her orgasm and praise her afterward.
It would be an interesting change of scenery from Aemond.
“Tell me more about your adventures.” She smiled as she looked at him, leaning over the table. He placed his elbows on the edge of the table, returning her gaze with a smirk, chuckling.
“What do you want to know, sweetheart?” He placed his elbows on the table. “Something fun?”
“Yeah.” She nodded.
Not even halfway through dinner, she was holding her belly from the pain because of how much she was laughing.
James was a wild one, there was no doubt.
The amount of times he had risked his life during one of his crazy ideas was definitely over the average.
He was fun, he knew how to tell a story, he knew how to pique her interest, and she found herself hungry for more of his memories.
“So, yeah, I don’t truly recommend hiking in flip flops.” He laughed as he took the last sip of his glass of wine.
“But tell me something about you.” He said as he fixed his eyes on her. “Why are you here all alone?”
She took a deep breath and leaned back on her seat, looking down at the glass in her hands.
“Because I needed… to get free.” She said, not looking up. Even though she had a feeling it was exactly someone like James that would understand that statement at best.
“My life was very different from yours.” She forced a smile. “I got a job as soon as I got out of school because I needed the money.”
She couldn’t look at him, scared he would look down at her.
Obviously she had no intentions of dropping the real bomb.
“Yeah, also, I’m married, but I was forced to against my will. My husband is a real asshole, but I still managed to fell for some stupid words he said to me while we were fucking. Oh, but he immediately humiliated me and put me back in my place, so I wrecked his room and ran here.”
Yeah, she couldn’t say that.
“So I put away some money and decided to leave.” She resumed.
“Brave girl.” The praise hit her harder than she imagined, so she dared to look up at him.
The way he was looking at her stole her breath.
He looked proud of her.
She let out a shaky breath, fighting the tears that threatened to come up.
No one ever looked at her that way.
No one.
James took her hand, rubbing his thumb on the back of it before bringing it to his mouth and placing a long kiss on it.
She looked away, biting her lip.
“It takes a lot of courage to just take off alone, leave everything behind, and just be free.” He said softly. “You are… a strong and brave woman.”
She smiled genuinely at him, blinking away the tears.
“Thank you. Truly.”
James lifted the humor back up with some other of his stories, and she was deeply grateful for it.
It gave her time to calm herself, and be fully present again.
After the dessert, he paid for the dinner, refusing to even let her get up from her seat until he was done.
He helped her up by holding her hand once he came back, and guided her towards the beach, walking near the shore.
He gave her his arms to hold onto as she took off her shoes to walk more comfortably, especially when he guided her towards the side of the beach made of rocks.
“This way.” He said as he helped her carefully over an old fallen tree. “Careful.” He placed his hands on her waist and pulled her up and off the tree to not make her jump off.
“Thank you.” She smiled, blushing as he pulled her close to his chest. He smiled down at her, holding her close for a bit longer than needed.
“Come on.” He murmured, leaning close to her ear. “I want to show you something.”
Her body filled with curiosity and anticipation.
They walked not much longer, and arrived at a small portion of the beach that was private, covered by big boulders.
Heels in one hand, the other in his, he walked her closer to the shore, until her feet wettened.
“What did you want to show me?” She asked, looking at him. He smiled back at him, squeezing his hand.
“Patience, sweetheart.” He said softly. “Just look.” He nodded towards the sea.
Confused, she turned, and what she saw, felt magical, if not possible.
The shore was glowing.
“What… How…?” She was speechless, she couldn’t move her gaze from the shore.
She could barely breathe, let alone speak.
Every single movement of the water, every small wave that came to shore glowed.
“Nature.” James said. “Beautiful, isn’t it?”
She looked to the side, following the length of the shore, and she noticed that the rest of the beach was glowing too.
“It’s breathtaking.” She said when she found her voice again.
She felt James’s hand on her shoulder, gently maneuvering her to turn her back towards him so he could look at his face.
She looked up at him, and saw the way his gaze moved over her face, adoringly.
How could this man, a stranger, warm her heart so much with just some caresses and looks?
She felt her breath hitch, and she knew this was the moment he would kiss her.
She wanted him to kiss her.
She closed her eyes, leaning her face more in his hands. She felt the warmth of his forehead against hers, his fingers moving over her cheeks in gentle caresses, making her move her face forward, searching for more of that contact, that warmth, that gentleness.
The way he caressed her, held her, looked at her, was making her heart melt.
She had never been treated like this, so softly, so carefully.
He touched her as if she might break if he held too tight.
She felt a tear run free from her eyes, but she didn’t move to wipe it away.
She wanted to stay like this forever, in that moment that felt too magical, too surreal to be true.
James kissed her tear, then placed two long kisses on her cheeks, lingering for a few seconds before pulling back, his hands dropping from her face
She almost stumbled at the loss of contact.
He… didn’t kiss her?
She opened her eyes to look at him, and there he was, standing in front of her, looking again at the beach, in silence.
Did she upset him in some ways?
She bit the inside of her cheek and mirrored his position, turning to look at the glowing water as she tried to swallow her disappointment.
She was sure the date went well, that he was at least a bit into her.
They were in the middle of the most romantic moment created by nature, and he didn’t kiss her.
Oh well, he did kiss her, but not like she was yearning for.
Had she done something wrong? Maybe it was her dress, or something she said?
Did her breath smell? But he ordered food for both of them, and they ate the same thing.
Was he simpy… not into her? Then why bother to take her out and bring her to look at the glowing beach in such a secluded spot?
During the ride back to the hotel, she barely spoke but James didn’t seem to notice much, filling the silence with more of his stories.
This time, she had to force herself to laugh, because she wasn’t truly listening to him.
Her mind was dripping with insecurities and doubts about herself and the way she acted the entire date, trying to find some mistake that would have led James to not kiss her.
Was she being too greedy, shameless, perhaps?
Maybe people here dated differently, and not kissing on a first date was normal?
“Hey.” His hand on her knee snapped her out of her thoughts. She turned to look at him with the best smile she could make. “We’re here.”
She looked outside the window and saw the glowing leds of the hotel.
“Oh.” She said. “I didn’t even realise we were already here.” She moved to open the door but he grabbed her arm, smiling and shaking his head.
She breathed in sharply and held her breath.
Maybe he would do it now?
But then he stepped out of the car and walked around it, opening her door from outside.
A second wave of disappointment crashed on her, and this time she wasnt sure she masked it properly.
“Thank you.” She said as she stepped out of the car, holding the hand he offered. She turned to look at him and he took a step closer, taking both her hands in his.
“I don’t want to be too harsh but…” He smiled up at her. “Maybe… tomorrow we could have dinner at my place? I’m a great cook.” He looked at her, his eyes filled with hope.
What? So he was interested?
She had never been so confused in her life.
“Yes, sure.” She answered before she could realise it. James chuckled, his smile widening.
“Perfect.” He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close into a hug. “Tomorrow it is, then. I’ll come pick you up at the same hour.” He kissed his cheek again. “Sweet dreams, sweetheart.”
She closed the door of her room behind her, and after kicking her heels somewhere in the room, she slid down the floor, her back against the door.
What the hell was wrong with her?
She slid her hands in her hair, groaning.
The guy was kind, sweet, gentle, and absolutely handsome, but she had to get all worked up just because he didn’t kiss her.
She didn’t know why she cared so much, she didn’t know when she started liking him so much to be so disappointed over something so silly.
She barely knew the guy, they only went on one date.
She couldn’t care this much, she shouldn’t let another man have that much influence over her, not after what happened to her.
She should protect herself, she should know how to shield herself from expectations that would only lead to disappointments.
Like her marriage, or Aemond, or the possibility that her father would change.
But then she remembered how James had touched her face, how his lips caressed her cheeks, how she had hoped he would caress her somewhere else too.
She rubbed her temples and forced herself to stand up and get ready to bed.
Tomorrow, she wouldn't get worked up over something so silly.
She would have been a grown woman and appreciated the date even if he didn’t touch her.
The morning after, she woke up feeling anything but refreshened.
She managed to get up from the bed late in the morning, and after a shower, she ordered room service for lunch.
She already knew she would have spent the day in her hotel room, trying to kill the time until tonight.
She was going to keep the promise she made herself, and be satisfied with whatever would happen, or well, wouldn’t happen.
She started getting ready early, hoping to kill the time, and to take her time with every preparation.
She tried on different options of outfits, but in the end, considering they would have stayed home, she put on a white silk dress, and some flats.
She waved her hair, and kept the makeup light.
She put cream all over her body, picked some sexy underwear and sprayed perfume to all the important places.
Now she felt truly refreshened.
She felt petty, beautiful.
Distracting herself with some tv program from time to time, evening came, and it was time to head out.
James was waiting for her out of the car, leaning against the hood, but when he saw her, he immediately straightened up and walked to her.
“You get more beautiful every time I see you.” He said, charmingly. She blushed and smiled.
“Thank you.” She bit her lip. “You… look good yourself.” She mumbled, feeling awkward at complimenting him.
His smile widened and he leaned forward to kiss her cheek before walking her to the car.
As he did last night, he helped her inside, and closed the door for her.
Walking over to the passenger seat and taking his place, he shot her an excited look.
“The food's warm.” He said. “Curious?”
“Very.” She nodded. “What did you cook?” She asked, making James chuckle and shake his head, eyes fixed on the road.
“It’s a surprise, sweetheart, you’ll see once we get there.”I live not too far, but it’s a house a bit isolated, but warm and welcoming.” He looked at her and winked. “I built it myself."
She didn’t feel anxious or worried.
James held that aura, calming and warm that made her feel safe.
“Cool.” She answered. “I’ll judge the style once we get there.” She teased.
“Yeah, you do that, sweetheart, but don’t go too hard on me.” He teased back.
She smiled, truly smiled and looked outside the window, enjoying the nature as they drove further into it.
The car came to a stop in front of a small house, but big enough for two people.
This time she didn't try to open the door, and simply waited for James to do it for her.
She gladly accepted his hand when he offered it, and stepped out of the car.
“Come.” He smirked as he guided her to the front door.
“So far so good.” She chuckled as she looked at the exterior of the house.
James looked back at her with a smirk, opening the door and stepping back to let her in first.
She reciprocated the smile and stepped in, looking around.
The entry lights were yellowish and not too strong.
On the right she noticed an open door, and she could see from outside the moving shadows cast by the flicking flame of candles.
Inside it was all made pretty much of wood, the walls, ceiling, the floor.
The door closed behind her, she took a step towards the door on the right, glancing back at James.
But James was nowhere to be seen.
“James?” She called out.
She furrowed her brows and stepped fully in the room, freezing.
“What is it baby?” He asked, standing up from the settled table.
She didn’t know if she should have been happy about how her marriage with him has changed.
She always woke up sore, tired, and had trouble walking.
Aemond was still a ghost during the day.
Not at night.
She screamed as she leaned forward on the bed, making him slip out.
She was panting and sobbing, her face pressed against the mattress, her knees bent at the end of the bed. He was standing behind her, panting as well.
He growled and grabbed her hips, pushing her back, but she whined and got up on all four and tried to crawl away.
“Get back here.” He snarled, grabbing her ankle and pulling her right back. She quickly got back on her knees, but before she could try to move again, he grabbed her by the back of her neck and pressed her face back on the mattress.
She whined loudly as he pushed right back into her, his cock filling her up again, the pleasure was mixed with pain and overstimulation.
“I’m gonna keep you here until your cunt will be able to make me come.” He panted as he resumed his thrusts, hard and deep, picking up the pace in short time.
You screamed against the mattress, the sound muffled by it, as she clenched her hands on the covers.
“Fucking come!” She moaned as she felt another orgasm threatening to wash over her. She didn’t know if she was going to be able to take it, again.
“If you shut up, maybe I will.” He slapped her ass as he scolded her, grabbing her hips again and starting to thrust harder, faster, the sound of skin slapping loud in her bedroom.
You scrambled on the mattress again as her hands clenched harder around the blankets.
You tried to clench around him, trying to make him come before she could reach another orgasm, and when she felt him moan she finally knew he was really close.
You tried to clench again, trying to hold back her orgasm, but it was hard with the way he was merciless pounding into her like she was a fuckdoll.
He moaned again and let go of one of her hips.
“You’re gonna come first.” He grunted, she didn’t need to turn around, she knew he was smirking. She groaned loudly and her back arched as his fingers brushed against her clit, and that was all she needed to come again.
Her walls clenched hard around him as her fluids covered his cock, again, getting even more wetter.
He thrusted a few more times, then, he pushed all the way in and stayed there as he came too with a low moan.
You let out a sound of relief as he pulled out, and collapsed on her bed as he walked out of her room to get on his own.
So the last thing she expected as she prepared lunch, was for him to come out in the office to join her in the kitchen.
“I have an event tonight.” He said as he leaned against the doorframe, crossing his arms as he looked at her. “And you’re coming with me.”
She turned and looked at him, raising one of her eyebrows.
“Dress, shoes, hair and makeup.” She turned to look at him. “None of those are prepared for an event.”
Aemond rolled his eye and scoffed.
“Dress and shoes are in your room, I already bought them. Makeup and hair whatever, you’ll look good anyway. Be ready at six.” He pushed himself off the doorframe and walked closer, inspecting the pans on the stove.
“Bring me a plate when you’re done. I’m in my office.” Said that, he walked away.
She gritted her teeth in annoyance.
It might have sounded like a compliment, but to her, it only felt like another confirmation that he didn’t care about her.
She stared at the spot where Aemond had stood, her hand gripping the wooden spoon a little too tightly.
He didn't even ask if she wanted to go.
Her frustration simmered as she returned to stirring the sauce. She hated the way he treated her, as though she was just another accessory in his life.
She glanced toward her bedroom, the thought of the dress he'd already picked out for her prickling at her pride.
Not even the decency to let me choose that.
With a sigh, she finished preparing lunch and plated his portion, setting it on a tray. She stared at the plate for a moment, her irritation flaring once more, before taking a deep breath. Confronting him wasn’t going to do anything but start another argument. She wasn’t in the mood to battle with him, not today.
Carrying the tray to his office, she knocked gently before entering. Aemond sat behind his desk, his eye glued to his computer screen as he typed rapidly. He barely glanced up when she set the plate in front of him.
"Thanks." He muttered, his tone neutral, devoid of any real appreciation.
She stopped but didn’t turn around, after a moment she resumed walking out and closed the door behind her with a little more force than necessary.
Back in her room, she found the dress laid out on her bed. It was stunning, she had to admit that much. Midnight blue silk, with a sleek silhouette that promised to hug her body in all the right places. The shoes, a pair of delicate, strappy heels, matched perfectly. It was clear Aemond had spared no expense, but that only made her feel more like a decorative piece for him to show off.
She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the dress. A part of her wanted to rebel, to refuse to go, to show him that he couldn’t just control her like this.
With a sigh, she stood up and headed to the bathroom. She’d go to the event. She’d wear the dress and the shoes he’d picked, and she’d play the role he expected her to. But that didn’t mean she had to enjoy it.
She walked down the stairs, ready, and she found Aemond dressed in a suit, his head bent down as he looked at his phone.
She sighed and quickly reached him.
“I’m ready.” She said dispassionately. “Let’s go.” Aemond raised his head to scan her body, and hummed with a single nod.
She clenched her jaw at his disinterest, and followed him as he opened the door, walking straight to his car.
They drove in silence, the tension thick between them. Aemond kept his eyes on the road, one hand casually resting on the steering wheel, the other tapping idly against the gear shift. She stared out the window, watching the city blur past, the weight of her resentment pressing heavily on her chest. She couldn’t shake the feeling that, for him, she was just another checkbox on his list for the evening, a trophy to flaunt at his side.
The event was at a luxurious venue downtown, a large gala hall lined with sleek black cars and finely dressed people. Aemond pulled into the valet station, and the car stopped. Without a word, he got out, tossing the keys to the valet before making his way around to open her door. His hand extended toward her as she stepped out of the car, his touch cold and formal.
“Stay close." He murmured as they entered the hall. She nodded, though it wasn’t as if she had much of a choice.
Inside, the room was filled with the elite, men in tailored suits and women in shimmering gowns, mingling beneath chandeliers that sparkled like stars. The air buzzed with the soft hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses.
As they moved through the crowd, Aemond’s grip on her arm tightened slightly, a signal to stay at his side. He greeted people with ease, his voice smooth, his expression composed. She remained silent, smiling politely as introductions were made, her mind drifting in and out of the conversations around her.
Time passed slowly, she had to pull out one fake smile after the other, trying to make small talk with the wifes as Aemond spoke with the husbands. The way he spoke to others with charm and ease was a sharp contrast to the way he treated her. Here, in this world of polished surfaces and false smiles, he was the perfect gentleman.
As they moved toward a quiet corner, Aemond turned to her, his eye scanning the room. “You’re doing fine." He said, as though it were a performance she had to perfect. There was no warmth, no genuine praise, just the acknowledgment that she was fulfilling her role.
She bit her tongue, swallowing the retort that threatened to spill from her lips. Instead, she took a slow breath and looked away, grabbing another glass of champagne.
She was surprised when she saw Aemond walk away from her, this time without dragging her with him.
She watched as approached a woman, a beautiful woman. He took her hand and kissed it, he talked closely to her, too close.
Did he forget he is married?!
She clenched her jaw tightly as she shot the rest of the champagne in the glass.
As the night dragged on, the crowd thickened, and Aemond became more engrossed in his conversations. She found herself drifting to the edges of the room, standing by the bar, always with a glass of champagne in hand as she kept looking at Aemond and that woman. The laughter and chatter around her felt distant, like a world she didn’t belong to.
And she hated it.
He didn’t even introduce her to the woman. All the husbands had to see his precious, younger, beautiful wife, but not her.
The warmth of the champagne fizzed in her chest, but it couldn’t dispel the cold knot of jealousy twisting in her stomach. She forced herself to look away, taking a deep breath to calm the rising tide of emotions. Aemond’s laughter echoed across the room, too bright, too carefree. She felt like a stranger in her own life, watching him charm this woman who was clearly enamored by him.
Another glass of champagne appeared before her, and she took it without thinking. It was easier to drown her frustration in alcohol than to confront the feelings swirling within her. As the bubbly liquid slid down her throat, she scanned the room for anything to distract herself. The crowd was a blur of elegance and sophistication, all laughing and mingling as if the world outside didn’t exist.
But here she was, standing alone, feeling like a ghost haunting her own marriage.
Without thinking, she moved closer, wanting to hear what they were saying. Aemond leaned in closer to the woman, his voice low and intimate. “You should join us for dinner next week. I’m sure my wife wouldn’t mind.” He said.
The words hit her like a slap. A wife who was just a footnote in his conversation, a mere afterthought. The woman laughed, a light, airy sound that felt like daggers to her heart. She couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Excuse me.” she interjected, her voice sharper than she intended.
Both Aemond and the woman turned to her. The playful atmosphere of their conversation evaporated instantly, replaced by a taut silence.
“Someone wants to talk to you.” She said, her voice steady, though her insides churned. She met Aemond’s gaze, and she saw a flicker of hate on his face.
“I just have to finish with Floris.” He replied, an edge creeping into his tone.
Floris.
“They seemed impatient.” She lied, not wanting to admit how deeply his interaction with the woman had affected her.
Aemond’s expression shifted, a mix of annoyance and anger. “Fine.” He narrowed his eye, as if he perfectly knew that she was lying.
Floris cleared her throat, taking a step back as the tension between them grew palpable.
“Talk to you later, Floris.” He nodded at her and grabbed his wife’s arm, dragging her along with him as she gave Floris a spiteful smile from behind her shoulder.
He pulled her outside, in a quiet spot in the garden, turning her forcefully to look at him.
“What the hell was that about?” Aemond’s voice cut through her, his tone filled with anger.
“What was about what?” She replied, feigning to not know what he was talking about crossing her arms defensively. “Can’t I have my husband all for myself? This is one of the rare moments you talk to me, after all.” She rolled her eyes as she spoke the last phrase. Aemond gritted in teeth, the struggle to contain his anger was clear in his face.
“Is it your empty cunt that is talking?” He hissed as he took a step closer. “Or just some basic, pathetic jealousy?” Aemond smirked cruelly as he looked down at her. “I wasn’t flirting with her,” He scoffed, his voice low but firm. “She’s just a colleague. It was nothing.”He sighed as he looked down at her with a hard glare. “This is how it works. I have to network, to meet people in this world, and sometimes it looks more personal than it is.”
“Yeah, it was obvious how personal you wanted it to be.” She clenched her jaw as she narrowed her eyes.
“Shut the fuck up.” He growled. “You were the one who kissed another guy right in front of me just a few weeks ago.” He hissed as he took a step closer, towering over her. “So just be a good wife, and smile.” He passed his hands through his hair. “Don’t make me angry.”
She clenched her jaw tighter. She didn’t want to be a stupid doll by his side. She was tired of all this, tired of faking so much. She was tired of pretending she wasn’t stuck in this marriage.
“No.” She hissed. “I’m going home.” She turned her heels and started striding away, but she didn’t manage to get far, Aemond grabbed her arm again and started dragging her to a nearby building, a hotel, probably the owners of the venue where the event kept going.
He walked in with her and stopped in front of the receptionist.
“One room, king bed, one night.” He said as he pulled out his wallet. The receptionist glanced between them with a smile, then she quickly gave the number of the room and the key.
Without much more words, Aemond strode towards the elevator, grabbing her hand tightly.
She stood awkwardly beside him as he pushed the button for the floor, and watched the display with the numbers changing, his hands in his pocket.
He almost seemed calm, peaceful.
She was in trouble.
As soon as the doors opened, Aemond shoved her outside the elevator, then in the hotel room as soon as he opened.
She stumbled inside, glaring back at him as she stepped back, putting some distance between them.
“No?” He snarled. “No?” He quickly stepped closer, grabbing a handful of her hair,. “Who the fuck do you think you are, mh?” He tugged downward by her hair, forcing her to bend her knees. “Get on your knees.” He growled as she pushed her down completely, until she was forced to kneel.
He looked down at her, his gaze dark and angry.
“My sweet, little wife wants my attention?” He mocked her. “Because she is jealous of a colleague?” He almost laughed. He took off his belt, and unbuttoned his pants.
As she looked down, she could see that he was already getting hard.
“You have my attention now.” He said, an amused, sadistic grin on his face. “And I am going to give it all to you, wife.” He pulled down his pants and boxers just enough to let his cock spring free from its confines, the tip only inches from her face.
It was the first time she got to see it clearly. She had stolen glances from time to time when he walked naked in her room, but because of the darkness or because he didn’t give her time to, she never really saw how beautiful and big it was.
“Come on, suck it.” He wrapped his hand around his thick, long cock and pushed the head against her mouth.
Oh, hell no.
She glared up at him, keeping her lips pressed together, and he growled at her defiance. He tilted her head back and bent down.
“I’ll force it down your throat.” He threatened.
“How, if you can’t even get it in my mouth?” She smirked. Aemond snarled and pulled her back up.
“You’re useless. Can’t even suck a cock properly? Why am I even keeping you?”
“Then divorce me, so I won't have to see your stupid, hateful face anymore.” She hissed as she pushed him back with a newfound force, driven by her anger. He landed back on the bed, and he quickly rose on his elbows, his eye full of hate for her.
“Oh, you’d like that, uh?”
“Yes.” She raised her dress and sat on top of him, pushing him back on the bed.
She never rode him. She was never on top.
Every time he came in her room, he just pushed her on her stomach and fucked her from behind, controlling everything.
Not this time.
She pushed her panties to the side, and grabbed his cock, squeezing it in her hand, making him twitch beneath her as he inhaled sharply.
“Fuck, careful.” He grunted, raising her dress from him, so he could get a clear view of her cunt sinking on him, enveloping around his cock, squeezing it and wetting it.
She bit back a moan as she slowly sank down, trying to take him all.
It was strange to be in a different position, on top, controlling.
She finally sat down on him with a long sight. Aemod’s hand flew immediately to her hips, but she slapped them away and pressed her hands down on his chest with force.
“I’m on top.” She groaned as she slowly started to move up and down, briefly, making his cock barely slip out of her.
Aemond started to thrust his hips up, trying to control the pace, but she sat down, making his efforts futile.
Amend growled and slapped her ass as he sat up.
“You think that just because you’re on top you’re in control?” He growled as he squeezed her cheeks in his hand. He laid back down, bringing her with him, his other hand flying to her ass, grabbing a handful of the skin. “No, wife. No.” He started to thrust up his hips quickly, his feet raising on the bed to help him thrust harder, faster.
She let out a moan, unable to hold it, as her eyes rolled in the back of her head. Aemond moved his hand from her cheeks to the back of her head, grabbing a handful of her hair, pulling her head back, forcing her to arch her back so her tits kept jumping up and down in front of his face, threatening at every movement to spill out of the cleavage.
He grunted and let go of her ass to pull down the cleavage and let free her tits, eagerly taking one in his mouth, sucking hard on her nipples.
She managed to look down, and seeing him sucking it hard, with neediness on her boob made another string of wetness coat Aemond’s cock.
“A fucking baby-” She mocked him as she panted, a smirk playing on her lips.
Of course Aemond grew furious at the mock. He pulled away only to slap her breasts.
“Such a hypocrite. Like you didn’t just get even more wet. Slut.” He laughed as he thrusted harder into her, bullying her sweet spot, that his cock seemed to aim on itself every time it entered her.
She hated it, how easily it was for him to pleasure her.
“Like you don’t get hard on being hated.” She spit back, string to move her hips as well, the pace increasing as she squeezed him inside her, trying to bring him close to the orgasm.
“God, I wish I had never agreed on marrying you –” She groaned as she felt another pull at her hair, her back arching even more.
“Considering how much time you put on your hair, I thought you would have been way more careful on the other’s.” She mocked him. He suddenly sat up and grabbed her ass tightly.
“So talkative, wife.” He smirked. “Are you trying to turn me on to show me that you’d be better than Floris?” He grinned, amused by her attitude.
She clenched her jaw as she glared daggers at him.
“I don’t need to prove myself. I am better than her.” She clenched her jaw as she looked at him.
Aemond hummed, looking at her in silence for a moment, unmoving.
“Surely her cunt is not as tight as yours.” She didn’t even have the time to register his words or get angry because he stood up, taking her in his arms, and he started to thrust his hips again, slower, but with much more intensity and hardness.
“Fuck –” She gasped, wrapping her arms around his neck immediately, to secure herself from falling. Aemond chuckled.
“Scared to fall, wife?” He clenched his jaw as he sped up the pace, making her jump on his cock.
“Fuck you. I’d bring you down with me.” She hissed, her nails digging in the back of his shoulders.
“I’d come.” He grunted as his head leaned back, a moan escaping his mouth.
She looked at him with a hint of surprise.
Surely he didn’t mean it. He couldn’t. He hated her.
Her thoughts got quickly washed away by a wave of pleasure. She didn’t even realize she was so much on the edge.
She looked at him as he straightened his head, his singe eye meeting hers, filled with affection.
She tightened her arms around his neck and closed her eyes, moaning loudly as she hit the edge, the pleasure washed over her, shaking her from the insides.
“God – Yes –” He moaned as her walls sucked him in, squeezed him, wetted him even more, turning the sound of his last thrusts squelched, louder.
He came hard, emptying his balls deep inside her with a low grunt. He stepped back, until the back of his knees hit the edge of the bed, then he let himself fall back, keeping her close to his chest.
They landed on the mattress with a thud.
‘I’d come’, his eye full with affection.
She sat up on him and looked down at his face, placing her hand on his cheek to turn his gaze to her.
It happened for a brief moment, but she saw it, right before his gaze hardened as his usual stoic face.
“I hate you.” She said between pants looking down at him, watching for a reaction in his face, a confirmation that he felt the same.
“I hate you too.” He turned his head to the side, diverting his gaze, looking somewhere ahead of him.
She nodded to herself, then she moved back down on his chest, resting her head on it.
{Request: Can I request a one shot older aemond and younger reader where reader father forces her to marry him and she didn't liked it a bit so she always tries to make him mad by pissing him off or by making him jealous Aemond tried to control his anger but He couldn't after he Caught her kissing a guy Then he punished her}
She never wanted this marriage. It wasn’t like she had a choice. Her father saw it as some grand opportunity, a way to bind their house to the Targaryens, like that would magically fix everything. As if marrying her off to Aemond, Aemond Targaryen, no less, was supposed to make her grateful.
But her father didn’t care. He hadn’t even bothered to ask how she felt about it. He’d simply handed her over like a prize, expecting her to smile and bow to Aemond, as if she owed him her devotion. Aemond. The man barely spoke. Half the time, it was like she didn’t even exist to him. Cold, stiff, and always so composed. She swore she could scream in his face and he’d just stare right through her with those sharp, calculating eyes, silently judging her.
She’d tried to make an effort. Tried talking to him, initiating conversations, anything to break through that icy exterior. But every time, he brushed her off, answering in clipped, controlled words, distant as ever. She wasn’t some ornament, some pretty little thing to be kept out of sight and out of mind. Yet every attempt to get his attention felt like hitting a stone wall.
Fine.
If he wanted to ignore her, she would ignore him right back.
It wasn’t as if he cared about this marriage either. He didn’t even bother to pretend. He was always locked away in his study, working, gods, always working, while she was left waiting like some foolish girl. Waiting for what? A few disinterested words over dinner? A fleeting glance in the hallway? The truth was, she wanted to hate him, and he made it so incredibly easy by acting as though she didn’t exist.
‘I don’t get it. You have his money, he doesn’t want to be with you. Why are you still at home? Come with me to dance tonight!’ her friend had said.
And she couldn’t argue. Why should she stay? Why pretend to care about her marriage when Aemond couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge her presence? So, here she was, sneaking out of the grand house like some rebellious child, holding her heels in her hand to avoid making noise. She was going to dance. Maybe drink. Maybe flirt with someone just to feel alive, to remind herself that she still had choices, no matter how reckless they might be.
She made it to the door, her heart racing with the thrill of defiance, but as her hand brushed the handle, a voice as cold and sharp as a blade cut through the silence.
"Again?" He raised his eyebrow at her as he stood a few steps from her, unimpressed and unamused.
Her heart stopped, her fingers freezing on the door handle. Slowly, she turned around to face him, and there he was, Aemond, standing a few steps away. His eye was fixed on her, unimpressed, his expression cold and unamused. He stood tall, regal, his arms crossed over his chest, and though his voice had been calm, there was an unmistakable edge to it.
Her pulse quickened, not just from fear, but from the sheer audacity of his tone. As if she were the one acting out of line. As if he had any right to question her after months of barely speaking, after ignoring her for so long.
“You don’t care where I go." She shot back, hoping her voice sounded stronger than she felt. “Why should it matter to you what I do?”
Aemond’s expression didn’t change. His gaze swept over her, taking in her dress, her shoes still clutched in her hand, the rebellious fire in her eyes. He took a step closer, and despite herself, she instinctively backed up, her shoulder brushing against the door.
“It matters." He said, his voice low, controlled, and dangerous. “Because you are my wife.”
The way he said it, like it was a fact she couldn’t argue with, only fueled the frustration burning inside her. His wife. His. As if the mere title gave him ownership over her, when he hadn’t so much as shown her an ounce of affection since the day they were wed.
She shook her head with a bitter smile on her face, and after that, she walked out, running barefit to her friend's car at the end of the driveway of the house.
For the first time in what felt like ages, she let herself breathe. The wind from the open window tangled her hair, and the thought of dancing, laughing, and forgetting everything about Aemond, about her father’s plans, about the endless silence, lit a fire of excitement in her chest. She wasn’t a prize to be won, and tonight she’d prove that. She’d reclaim her choices, even if just for a few hours.
The club was a blur of neon lights, pounding music, and bodies moving in time to the heavy bass. She and her friend weaved through the crowd, making their way to the bar, where she ordered a drink, something strong, to dull the lingering bitterness that clung to her like a shadow.
"You go girl." Her friend laughed, handing her the glass. "Let's have some fun."
She smiled, but the triumph she’d expected didn’t come. Instead, Aemond’s cold, dispassionate face flashed through her mind, his voice, that same calm authority in his words, as though he had any right to dictate her life. It grated at her, the memory of him standing there, unimpressed by her rebellion, almost daring her to leave.
But she had left. She was here, wasn’t she? Surrounded by people, music, life. She downed her drink and ordered another.
For a while, it worked. She let the music sweep her up, moving to the rhythm, letting her body loosen, the alcohol sending a warm buzz through her limbs. A stranger approached, smiling, and she found herself flirting, feeling the rush of attention, the thrill of being seen. The stranger's hand rested lightly on her waist, guiding her as they danced, and for a brief moment, she felt like she’d regained control of her life.
She leaned into the stranger, her body moving effortlessly in sync with his. The alcohol had dulled the sharp edges of her thoughts, and in this moment, she craved nothing more than to lose herself, to forget the weight of her marriage, the coldness of Aemond’s gaze, the suffocating expectations. She didn’t want to think anymore; she just wanted to feel.
The stranger’s hand slid up her arm, his touch warm against her skin, pulling her closer. Her heart raced, not with affection, but with rebellion, an act of defiance against the life she had been thrust into. His face was inches from hers, and without thinking, without pausing to consider the consequences, she closed the distance between them and kissed him.
The man immediately wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer, his hands slowly darting out to her lower back as he pushed his tongue in her mouth, kissing her quickly, harshly.
She closed her eyes shut, trying to forget everything about her life and just focus on the kiss, on the man in front of her, his hands that moved to her butt, grabbing a handful of her skin and squeezing it.
The man pulled away from her lips and started to kiss her neck, she opened her eyes to look down at him, then, she made the biggest mistake.
She raised her gaze in front of her and she saw him.
Her husband.
Staring right back at her, right behind the stranger that was touching her body and kissing her neck.
Basing on Aemond’s look, he was not happy about that.
She didn’t dare to pull the man away.
It was like a silent battle between her and her husband, where he was silently ordering her to leave the man, and she was showing him just how much she didn’t care about his orders.
Aemond took a step closer, standing right behind the man that kept touching her body and sucking the skin of her neck, pulling her closer against his chest as he slowly started to grind his hips against hers, trying to look like he was simply dancing.
She simply placed her hands on the man's shoulders, and that’s when Aemond smirked.
That took her off guard, she couldn’t understand why he was smirking, but then he looked down at the ring on her finger.
Her wedding ring.
She smirked right back, and without tearing her eyes off Aemond, she leaned towards the stranger's ear.
“I’m married…” She whispered, trying to sound sexual, and she bit her lip. She saw with the corner of her eyes the man’s head snap up, then a grin forming on his face.
“So young?” He asked with a hint of surprise.
That’s when she looked away from Aemond, to the man in front of her.
“Yeah… But my husband is older, and he doesn't know how to take care of me…” She said, pretending to be sad and frustrated. The man raised his eyebrows and looked at her with a wide smirk.
“Oh, don’t worry, baby.” He squeezed her butt again, pulling her against him. “I can.” He chuckled and kissed her again, unaware that her husband was watching them, and he felt ready to kill that guy.
Then, in a second, the man wasn’t on her anymore, but on the floor, with Aemond’s foot pressed against his chest.
She saw him lean down and say something to the man, but due to the loud musing, she couldn’t hear a word.
Aemond turned and glared at her his nostrils wide open as he panted in fury, he stepped back from the man and grabbed her wrist, dragging her behind him as he strode out of the club.
Without much elegance, he threw her in the car, not so elegantly and slammed the door right after.
She pressed her lips together as she looked at him, walking around the car to get in the driver seat.
“Disrespect me like this-” He growled as he turned on the engine. “Act like a damn whore , “ He slammed his hands against the steering wheel. “Cheat-“
“Cheat?” She repeated, her voice trembling, betraying herself when she tried to sound strong. “We’re not a couple.”
Aemond took a deep breath as he sped up the car, his hands gripping tightly the steering wheel.
“Shut up. Shut. Up.” He growled, his tone of voice suggesting her to follow his order.
She looked out of the window and sank in the seat, spending the rest of the ride silent.
The rest of the car ride was tense and suffocating. The only sound was the engine's roar, and the tension crackling between them like a fire ready to burst. She kept her gaze fixed on the blur of the passing city, arms crossed tightly over her chest as if trying to shield herself from the storm brewing next to her.
Aemond’s grip on the steering wheel was so tight, his knuckles turned white. His eye was trained on the road, but the energy radiating from him was unmistakable, anger, frustration, something darker she couldn’t quite name. The car cut through the city streets with reckless speed, and for a moment, she wondered if he even cared where they were going or if he was just trying to burn off his fury.
They arrived back at the house far quicker than she expected. Aemond barely parked the car before he was out of it, slamming the door with enough force to make her jump. She hesitated, but only for a moment, before following suit, the click of her heels echoing on the pavement as she stepped out. The front door was already open, Aemond standing inside, waiting for her.
The moment she crossed the threshold, the door slammed shut behind her. The sound reverberated through the grand hall, making her stomach drop. She turned to face him, heart pounding, unsure of what would come next. His single eye was fixed on her, blazing with barely restrained fury, but beneath it was something else, something more dangerous, possession.
“You think you can humiliate me like that?” His voice was low, the words dripping with anger.
She lifted her chin defiantly, refusing to back down. "Humiliate you? You've ignored me for months, Aemond. You don’t get to act like you care now. You made it very clear from the beginning that I mean nothing to you."
Aemond’s jaw tightened, his gaze never wavering. “You’re my wife." He said again, as if that explained everything. His voice was cold, but there was an edge of desperation beneath it.
She swallowed, trying to hold his gaze without flinching. “Your wife?!" She snapped, her voice rising. “Being ignored, pretending we’re something we’re not, this is our marriage. You don’t even care about me, Aemond. You’ve made that very clear.”
Aemond’s eye darkened. “You think I don’t care?”
“You don’t!" She shot back, her frustration bubbling over. “You never speak to me, you never acknowledge me. You’re always locked away, and I’m left here, waiting for... what? For you to remember that I even exist? You never have, not once!”
He took a step closer, his posture tense, coiled like a predator. “You think that justifies what you did tonight? Throwing yourself at some stranger like a common-”
“Don’t you dare!" She cut him off, her voice sharp. “Don’t you dare make this about my behavior when you’re the one who’s treated me like nothing more than an accessory. You don’t get to be angry, Aemond, not when you’ve given me nothing to work with.”
Aemond’s lips pressed into a thin line, his nostrils flaring. His chest heaved as he struggled to contain whatever storm was raging inside him.
“I’ve given you everything." He said, his voice barely above a whisper, though the weight of it hung heavy in the air. “Everything I have, you have. My name. My house. My loyalty.”
“Your loyalty?” She let out a bitter laugh. “You don’t even look at me.”
His eye flickered with anger. “I’ve been patient." He snarled, his voice laced with cold control. “I’ve kept my distance because I didn’t want to force you into something you clearly weren’t ready for. But make no mistake, wife, you belong to me. No matter how much you hate me, or I hate you. No matter what we feel, we are married.”
Aemond stepped closer, towering over her. “I’ve allowed you your space, your defiance, even your rebellion tonight. But no more. This ends now.”
She swallowed hard, her pulse racing. “And what if I don’t agree?" She challenged, though her voice faltered at the end.
Aemond’s smirk returned, dark and dangerous. “You will." He said, his voice as smooth as silk, “Because I won’t give you a choice.”
“Aemond -” She began, but her words were cut off as he tilted her head up, forcing her to meet his gaze.
“You are mine." He whispered, his breath warm against her skin. “And I am yours, whether you like it or not.” He paused as he looked at her face. “This marriage is real." Aemond said, his voice rough. “You don’t get to run from it. You don’t get to run from me.”
She stared at him, her heart pounding in her chest. “And what if I still want to?" She whispered. He immediately wrapped his hand around her neck, squeezing lightly.
“Then I’ll chase you." He growled. “And you won’t escape.”
Her breath caught at his words, at the possessiveness in them. His eye bore into her, and she felt a sudden anger warming her chest.
She knew that no matter how much she ran, this was her life.
And she couldn't do anything to change it.
“I hate you.” She hissed, her voice filled with venom.
She saw it in his eye, a spark of lust at her words. Her breath got caught in her throat as she looked up at him.
He liked it. It turned him on.
In a swift motion, he closed the distance between them, his hand squeezing her neck. The sudden lack of air sent a jolt through her even if it was for a brief moment. His touch was cruel, it was possessive, commanding.
Before she could react, his lips crashed down on hers, fierce and unrelenting. It wasn’t a kiss of affection; it was a claim, a reminder of the bond they shared, a bond she had tried to forget but could no longer deny.
She wanted to resist, wanted to push him away, but something inside her cracked, the wall she had built around her heart splintering under the force of his kiss. She kissed him back, not out of love or affection, but out of the same defiance that had driven her to the club in the first place.
When he finally pulled away, both of them were breathless, their foreheads nearly touching. His eye searched hers, his chest rising and falling with the effort of controlling his emotions.
“Run away again, and when I find you, I’ll tie you to my bed.” He growled as he pressed his forehead against hers.
“If I run away again, I’ll make sure you’ll never find me again.” She hissed right back. Aemond groaned and pulled her by her neck closer, his lips slamming against hers again, kissing with all the anger he had inside, all the desire and frustration he grew over the marriage.
“Keep fighting back.” He hissed in her ear. “It only gets me going.” She could feel the smirk against her ear, his amusement, his challenge.
She placed her hands on his chest and forcefully pushed him away, but he only let out a low grunt, taking a small step back. He looked down at her with an amused smirk, and moved his hand behind her neck, pushing her forward and slamming her face against the wall, his body pressing hers from behind.
“Try again.” He growled. She could hear him trying to unbuckle his belt, and she waited until he shifted his attention to his pants to throw herself back to get him off of her and run upstairs.
She managed to take four steps before he grabbed her wrist and yanked her back to him, wrapping his arms around her from behind, one around her middle, the other arm clenching around her throat.
She gritted her teeth as she wrapped her hands around his arm.
“Fuck you-” She managed to say before he bent more his arm to cut her off. He moved his other hand to raise her dress over her legs and ass, leaving her in underwear.
He thrusted his hips forward against her, and her breath got caught in her throat as she felt his big hard cock rubbing against her ass.
He chuckled at her gasp, he kept her close to him by the grip around her neck as he lowered his boxers.
“Do you think you can take it?” He pressed the side of his head against hers. “I know you can't see it, wife, but I assure you, it’s big.” He pressed a hand on her stomach to make her feel it again, and she had to bite back a moan, just at the idea of his big cock filling her so good.
“I’ve had better, husband.” She smirked as she dug her nails in his arm, that was still tightly around her neck. He growled in her ear as his hand on her stomach moved lower, until it found her core.
Without much teasing he slipped two fingers inside and chuckled.
“That’s why you’re so wet?” He started moving his fingers inside her with a fast pace, roughly, making her legs tremble as she tried to close them for too much pleasure so suddenly, in such a short time.
“No, kissing that guy at the club did it-” She choked as he bent further his arm.
Truth was, Aemond was fucking hot when he was angry.
And she was enjoying this game perhaps too much.
She groaned as she tried to close her legs, Aemond pulled his hand away and slapped her butt.
“You’re so wet I won’t even have to properly prepare you, I guess I’ll thank that guy, for wetting my wife for me-” He said in a low growl, then he pressed his forehead against her temple and growled in her ear. “I will spread your walls on my cock-” He moved his hand between their bodies, grabbing his cock and giving it a few pumps before pressing the head against her entrance. “Until you’ll be begging me to stop.” He thrusted his hips forward, making his cock slam inside her, placing a hand on her stomach to keep her still.
“Oh my God – “ Her eyes rolled in the back of her head as she moaned loudly, her back arching, her buttcheeks pressing against him as he filled her to the bring, to a point no one has ever reached before.
“You feel it, don’t you?” He chuckled darkly in her ear as he moved back, pulling out almost to the end before slamming inside once again, settling the whole glorious length inside her warm folds.
She sobbed as she got filled again, she could feel him everywhere, rubbing every spot inside her, throbbing against her wet walls.
He started thrusting slowly, but hard, making her jolt forward every time he settled back inside her,
“Not so talkative anymore, uh?” He chuckled as he started to pick up the pace, his hand on her stomach pressing harder. “I know you feel me.” He whispered as he felt a slight bulge against his hand every time he thrusted back. “Even I can feel me.”
“F-fuck you-” She breathed out, her eyes closed as she tried to focus on pleasure and not at the slight discomfort of having something that big inside her. “I hate your small dick just as much as I hate you.” She grunted, trying to sound believable, but the laugh she heard from him let her know that she failed miserably.
“Small dick? Is that all you can do?”
He smiled and moved his hand lower, back between her legs, his fingers quickly found her clit and started rubbing it quickly. She arched her back violently as she bent her legs, crying out and trying to close her legs to stop his hand, Aemond’s arm around her neck was the only thing keeping her on her feet, her legs slowly starting to turn jelly as he kept with his merciless pounds, always harder.
The only sound filling the room was his grunts and her pants, along with the sticky wet sounds on his cock as it slipped in and out of her, his balls hitting her ass every time he filled again.
His tip caressed her sweet spot every time it rubbed its way inside, then it hit another spot she didn’t know she had, way deeper, sending shivers of pleasure through her. In addition his fingers never stopped stimulating her clit, bringing her edge dangerously close.
“For fucks sake, you’re leaking-“ He grunted as he kept thrusting inside her with a punishing pace.
She moaned and tilted her head back, her mouth agape, she felt unable to properly think of a sentence or an insult, anything.
She was completely out because of his husband's long, thick, wonderful cock.
Aemond looked down at her, finding her eyes lost in pleasure, her dumbfolded expression as he fucked her raw was almost too much for him.
Almost.
He suddenly picked up a faster pace, hugging her chest with his free arm as he slammed harder against her, making her let out sounds he had never heard before.
“I know you want to come.” He growled in her ear. “Because you love this dick.” He smiled as she head a particularly loud moan, then her walls started to squeeze him inside, massaging his cock tightly, asking him to never leave that wet heat he was enveloped in.
“There, baby. Come.” He moaned as he choked her a bit more, and his words seemed to be enough for her.
Her whole body shook violently against his, and she would have fallen over if he wouldn’t have been keeping her up.
He moaned loudly as she tightened even more that he expected, and with a low growl, he slammed his cock as deep as it could go, staying there and enjoying every little squeeze she gave him.
He moved only when she calmed down. He pulled out and pushed her towards the back of the couch, making her bend over it.
“What? Get off me! I can’t-“ She gasped and stopped herself when he smacked her bottom, hard enough to leave a red print of his hand.
“What did I say?” He said as he pushed right back into her, making her arch her back immediately and stood up. He pushed right back on the couch, keeping her firm with a hand on the back of her neck. “You’ll be begging me to stop.”
He quickly started to pound into her again, looking down at his cock getting wetter by the second, as it disappeared in her folds.
“Fuck! Ah — Aemond-“ She moaned as she tried to hold on to everything she could find.
“Yes? What is it?” He chuckled darkly, waiting for her pleas.
She groaned loudly and squeezed the cushions of the couch in her hands, wanting to beg him to stop and let her rest, but too stubborn to actually do it.
“Fuck you!” She shouted, but that only spurred him more. He slapped her butt again, the he grabbed a handful, pressing her cheeks apart so he had a clearer view of what he was doing to her.
He started to feel his orgasm reaching, but he wanted to make her come again first.
“Look at you -“ He panted. “Here I thought you were so rebellious, but it took me only a night to make you bend over for me.” He laughed. She could feel her cheeks burn hot with anger and embarrassment at his words.
He felt her clench around him, and with a low grunt, he started to slam in her harder, deeper.
“I’ll make sure every night, every day, that you won’t be able to use your pretty legs to run off again.” He snarled.
She moaned as she felt the couch starting to squeak under her, the force of his movements was breaking the damn couch.
“Christ — Aemond- Wait-“ She mumbled as she panted.
“Keep begging.” He smiled. “I like that.”
“The couch —“ She gasped. “It’s breaking -“
“I don’t care about the fucking couch. I’ll buy one where I can fuck you as hard as I want.” He growled, his pace never relenting. “Now come again.”
He threw his head back, trying to hold back his orgasm, waiting for her to come, and basing on how her walls were squeezing him, she was right there.
“Fuck!” She moaned loudly as she came again, waves of pleasure ran through her body, stronger than before, taking her breath from her.
“Yes — Fuck — I’m gonna come —“ He moaned, his pace quickening. “I’m gonna come inside you, wife -“ He panted loudly as he slammed his hips into her one last time, grabbing her hips to pull her back against him, trying to come as deep as he could inside her.
He leaned forward, his body covering hers.
“I don’t want to see a drop come out of you as we walk in the bedroom.”

Hi!
I honestly don’t know! I was planning to publish another chapter of Kiddo, then I came up with an idea for a one shot but in the meantime I’ll surely work on the next chapter and publish it when I think it’s ready and juicy 😏
