Okay Well first thing first type of Magic
Geoff - Time and Fire witch. which Ill explain more in a moment
Jack- White witch. She can’t use her magic to harm people but she is able to use it to help the crew which is fine with her its not like weapons don’t exist
Ryan - Empath witch. He can put an immense amount of fear into a person without doing anything
Gavin - Blood Magic. Which he hates and makes him gag when he uses it
Jeremy - Necromancer. Though he can only bring some back for a short amount of time and its extremely draining
Steffie - Divination witch
“Okay Time witch stuff - Okay but a time witch is rare, because they try not to reproduce due to the fear of the kid turning out bad and going back in time to mess with history. Not much is known on time magic or how it works, some believe that time witches are decedents of a god and those people are correct. Time witches are demigods. Yes they can die like everybody else, but they also all have a way to regenerate
God I dont remember what the rest of that explanation was. Whatever my point is time witches have some god magic which allows them a way to be able to regenerate Because Geoff is also part fire witch it is why if burned he regenerates It is also why a phoenix is his familiar
Well, it seems like time witches would have a secondary magic, but it would be a higher power concentration. So a water + time witch could be thrown in a body of water and regenerate, a garden + time witch could be buried in a forest and regenerate, etcetera etcetera Which would require time witches to have elemental magic, and having a, say, time alchemist or time necromancer would be unheard of, especially since time witches are so rare”

I had an idea for a fic veeeeeeeery loosely based off The Magicians
“Right okay so part of the show The Magicians is that they’ve tried to kill this monster about 34 times, each time they fail this woman set back time and changes one thing in hopes it would allow them to win but she gets killed so this is their last shot. So imagine something like that with Witch au FAHC. They keep trying to take down this crew that wants them all dead and every time they fail Geoff sets time back enough and changes one thing in hopes that it will change the outcome, and nobody but Geoff, and Jack because he gives her a potion that lets her remember, knows that time was set back, but this time Geoff dies so this is the crew’s last shot. Most likely reason they dont bring geoff back is no one outside the crew knows he’s a time witch and thinks he’s just a fire witch and by bringing him back will put Jeremy in danger because there are rumors he’s a necromancer and something like that will only make people certain those rumors are true”
