please do not say you have a mental illness inless you take a hard and specific test to, or know FOR SURE you have it.

I know its valid if someone has it, but due to more people on the internet opening up about their mental illnesses (not a bad thing in itself) more kids are saying, "oh! i might have this!" and diagnosing themselves. Believe me, you might have it temporarily and not to the point where its a "mental illness" ( as in it cant really change too much depending on it but you can help it) due to hightened harmones. its valid if you have it and you are free to use coping mechanisms (bc thats a great thing!) and your feelings are so very valid! but if youre not sure do NOT diagnose yourself. Diagnosing yourself in its own is harmful to your mental state. I know doctors are bigots and will prescribe you anything, but please be sure.
