The friend with benefits I talked about before here gets me confused. He told me quite in the beginning that he was just not interested in a relationship right now and that was totally ok. 

But he always puts so much effort into our meet ups, always wants me to enjoy myself, we cuddle a lot, he talks to me quite often about travels, cooking, college and so much more without a single hint of sexual innuendoes or alike. When we went swimming together he still acted very affectionate with me although we were obviously in public. It feels like our whatevership is very important to him.

He is on a holiday trip with some of his friends right now and I was sure I wouldn't here from until friday when he comes back but even thousands of kilometers away on a boys trip he still thinks of me and tells me all about their day and their plans for tomorrow. 

It all feels really relationship-y but without it being a relationship. It's strange.

All odds may be against us, but I’m putting steady faith that we can make this work somehow. I’m a skeptical person, but I’m certain that what we have is not something we could easily dismiss. There are some memories that need to be made and plans that need to be lived out. Prior to meeting you I was already broken and bitter, and I still am… but you have reinstated a silver lining back into my life. Dare I say that you have become my silver lining? Clearly, I have nothing to lose saying this.
