Today's #WhatISeeinHer challenge is to give a shout out to my coworker or work wife. Alfreda is not my work wife but my work sister. She has the biggest heart and.is always willing to help When I started here almost 7 years ago she took me under her wing, brought me lunch, gave me rides home, defended me and always called me out when I was wrong. We've had disagreements but we settled them, put them behind us and moved on. Shout to my girl gang! I met these ladies in October for our girls weekend. We connected because of @diaandco and they are truly my sisters now. You never really know when you meet someone if they will be who you've built them in your mine to be but I was not disappointed. These ladies are everything and more. We met as strangers and left as friends. We support each other and it's great that we still keep.in touch with each other. Day 2 of @diaandco #WhatISeeinHer campaign is to talk about about a fictional female character that inspires me and I choose @sueannjaffarian female amateur sleuth Odelia Grey. In the mystery genre there are hardly any plus size female sleuths and Odelia is head and shoulders the rest. She is independent and fiesty and she is in her 50s. I love that she doesn't apologize for who she is and.she happily takes up space. From the first book Too Big to Miss when she solves her friend's murder, finds her voice, and gets a boyfriend I have been hooked. It's so wonderful to pick up a book and see myself in the pages of that book. If you've never read any of the books please so you'll thank me. I hope Odelia never goes away!
