So, I saw this pattern and it had a collar almost exactly like what I was looking for, but it wasn't quite big and dramatic enough, so, I upgraded! I had to add casing seam allowance for boning, make the boning, and then sew it all up. Satin and lace are a pain by themselves, but together? Argh!
