In Asia, i won't say it's normal, but it is not unheard of, for really big/important companies to require interviewees to do psychometric tests as part of the interview process.

It’s a really big Asian automotive company, so I think this must be how it goes.

@whatisthisreally and @exiled-one In Japan it took nearly a month to get my internet hooked up. In America it was never more than three days. In both places you also had unlimited data though if you were constantly downloading movies and such your isp would investigate. Taking ten days is irritating, but better than a whole month. Here and in Australia it seems you have a data plan like you might with your phone service and three choices of internet speed.

Well, I can't fault your Kiwi cousin. The current climate here is f*cking crazy.

I hear NZ is awesomely chill and relaxed :) Well... yes and no. NZ has issues but nobody really cares about them outside NZ. For one, making ends meet is a bit difficult but saving money is hardly possible for most people. If I move there I may never be able to pay off my student loans.
