Not Always What it Seems || onigiriuki
Quick on her feet and light on her toes, Emelina was an expert at sneaking around places where she was not normally supposed to be. Taken to lounging about the Eleventh’s Division, Emelina had grown quite bored one overcast afternoon, and against her better judgement, had slid unnoticed from the barracks, crimson headed Arrancar masking her reiatsu and keeping to the shadows as she wandered the Seireitei. Where her feet would take her, she did not know, but she was bound to run into some trouble sooner or later. Sure, with the Quincy onslaught eminent, Arrancar and Shinigami were working together against a common enemy, but that didn’t necessarily mean that all Shinigami were for they idea. She had to watch her back with many of them, and though she was strong, she could be easily outnumbered and overpowered.
Eyes scanning the building before her, she immediately recognizes it as the Twelfth Division, an area that she wanted to keep as far away from as possible. The captain made her severely uneasy, after watching the battle with Szayelaporro, his techniques used in battle enough to make the young woman’s skin crawl. No doubt, she might prove as an interesting test subject for a new experiment, forbidden or not. Without a second glance at the Division, she sonido’d further down, easily avoiding the gaze subordinates. Once she knew she was safely out of their presence, she allowed herself to slow down to a walk, jumping up to clear the wall beside her, falling into an areas unknown to her. Emerald hues glancing around the area, she seemed to be unnoticed as she entered, keeping her reiatsu hidden as she explored the Division she had dropped into. It wasn't until after a few minutes that she had realized it was the Thirteenth; she should have known. The atmosphere was pleasant and joyful, each individual squad member busy with their task at hand.
A smile touching her lips as she walked on, keeping to the shadows of the trees and bushes, Emelina found herself liking this Division more and more. Had she come back as a Shinigami, rather than a hollow, she would have found herself quite at home...though that would have depended on the captain. She made a point to learn each and every one, as well as their Divisions, but for the life of her, she could not remember the Thirteenth. It was driving her mad as she rounded a corner, all thoughts coming to a halt as she found herself face-to-face with a kind, although rather ill-looking man. Emerald hues widened, comprehension suddenly dawning upon her features at her realization. This was no doubt Ukitake Jushiro, taichou of the Thirteenth. Though she knew his reputation as a man, she couldn't help but to be the slightest bit weary. "Gomen, sir," she said with a bow. Unable to think of an explanation for her presence there, she could only stare, wide gaze fixed upon his kind features.
