Heya! It’s soup. I don’t know how to format an intro post so I’m putting images in that thang
What kind of soup? That’s a great question, I’m really glad you asked it. It’s a very important question, and a lot of people need it answered. I myself am very passionate about it. You know, we have some of our best people working on answering that very question as we speak-
I mainly reblog pictures of animals (emphasis on bugs and birds, they’re fire), any art or photography I think is cool looking, some politics, shitposts, the usual. If you followed me for anything at all I apologize
My art blog is @jaguarsoup ! I will reblog it here every once in a while too, but that blog is much less cluttered w other things than this one is.
I also have a good amount of gimmick blogs, which I may or may not reveal at some point in the future.
My fandoms/interests include:
-Birds/ornithology
-Bugs/entomology
-Cats the musical ‼️ (current hyperfixation)
-Runaway to the stars
-Furries
-Spec bio (don't do much of it myself right now but I find it very cool)
-Minecraft in general
-Animals in general
-Technoblade
-Wings of fire
-Linguistics!
-I also just reblog any art I think looks cool, regardless of fandom.
(Rtts pixel art banners by lunaranimosity)
I don’t have a fully fledged tagging system, I just sort of sort inconsistently and autistically , but it’s something as follows:
Art reblog: any art i see that was cool
Birdy: bird images
Kittyuh: cat images
Bird art: what it says on the tin
Bug art: see above
Soup speaks: text posts
Soupcore: random things that spoke to me
Mecore: random things that spoke to me in a silly little voice because I absolutely would do that
Tumblrisms: posts about tumblr's functioning as a site or things that I think are representative of the online tumblr culture
Genderisms + Transgenderisms: posts about gender, usually gender in the political or social context. can include posts about misogyny, transphobia, trans people's struggles, current politics, or lgbtq/trans history.
Playing with jpegs like dolls: that little part of tumblr culture where we just successively edit an image to be something else entirely. a group effort typically
Blackout poetry: Tumblr's stupidized version of blackout poetry, might also fall under playing with jpegs like dolls. regular blackout poetry might find its way in here too
Soup images: images I made or took (or sometimes just. when I post an image i guess)
Soup mumbles: sometimes I add this when I go on a rant in the tags
Pod: isopods
Musicposting: idk how to describe this one. Me when music
Instrumence: random posts about or including specific musical instruments
I will also sometimes tag my fandoms as such: #wings of fire, #runaway to the stars, #technoblade (or sometimes technoooooo). I usually avoid abbreviations bc I can never tell what they are.
I am a wild thing by Soup contains 8 horses
