Thousands of years ago, Pink Diamond, one of the leaders of Homeworld, led a rebellion against the empire in the name of freedom on Earth. Disguised as Rose Quartz, she and her army spread chaos and tore down Homeworld piece by piece, and victory was in sight.
However, they didn’t take into account one thing; that a certain few gems saw past her disguise.
Fed up with Pink Diamond’s newest game, White, Blue and Yellow Diamond decided to put an end to this war by sending a corruption blast to Earth, certain that once her friends were turned into monsters, Pink Diamond would run back to them for forgiveness. However, that never happened. Unwilling to give up their leader and unwilling to let such a huge crime go unpunished, gems were stationed all over Earth to find the survivors, creating a treaty with humans in the disguise as being there for the safety of mankind.
Meanwhile, Rose, and the other survivors of the Diamond blast, the fusion Garnet and the renegade Pearl, must stay hidden away from the Homeworld gems on Earth and collect as many of their corrupted friends as they can before Homeworld gets their hands on them. With Rose deciding to have a child, she, G and Earl have one thing in mind; stay disguised as humans, and keep Steven in the dark as long as possible.
