As I head home from a crazy adventure in Iceland, I’ve been reflecting on all of the recent travel and how it’s opened up parts of my mind I didn’t know were closed. Whether it’s a warm white sand beach with crystal blue water, a cozy and colorful Mexican cafe, a sharp and windy volcanic cliff, or a towering and icy waterfall, I find something of my own heart reflected back at me in all of these new places. Iceland with its raw, welcoming but unyielding landscape has pulled at parts of me I was happy to leave in the corners, but it has prompted growth and change I’ve needed for years. I cross the border back into my own land more complete than when I left. Thank you, Iceland. My face still hurts from that ridiculous wind, but thank you. 🗻♥️ #traveliceland #travelstoked #embracechange #whatthefoss #icelandtravel (at Glymur)
