I'm surprised you came. I hear you're pretty busy these days, wearing those big girl pants.

You know, I never thought I'd be happy to see you but here we are...

"I can't say much for the entirety of what you're wearing but those boots? They're magnificent."
The Attack on SHIELD || Open to SHIELD
Cable stood looking at his gun rack for what felt like an eternity. This was the very thing he wanted to avoid above all else but it looked like he'd have no other choice. Grabbing two of his hand blasters and a charge rifle, he looked back on his safehouse and wondered if he'd ever see it again. Succeed or fail, he probably wouldn't be able to come back; at least not for a while.
He had no holoprojecter this time, it would just be extra tech that the android could use against him. He used a trench coat to conceal the guns and waited for nightfall before making his way out of the building. Sticking to back alleys and side streets, Cable made his way to the SHIELD building. He crouched down by a dumpster and observed for a bit, just to get an idea of what security might look like. Fury had said the robotics lab was three floors up on the south side of the building, he was facing the main entrance on the west side. There was nothing close enough for him to blow an entrance straight to the correct floor from another building so he'd have to work his way up from the ground floor. Hitting the front would be asking for failure so somehow he'd have to work his way over to one of the sides without being spotted. The north side looked to have the weakest security so that would have to be it.
He made his way back up a block and then crossed the street before heading back towards the building. There was a small alleyway that linked up to the northeast corner of SHIELD, he counted three agents watching it. He was hoping to not kill anyone on this op so he had his blasters set to an electrical pulse that would interfere with normal brain functions just enough to render the target unconscious. He'd have to make this quick however, it wouldn't take SHIELD long to realize they were missing agents. Charging into the alley, he fired off three shots that connected with each sentry. Dropping the coat, he pulled the rifle strapped to his back around and held it for the five seconds it needed to charge before blowing open a hole in the building's wall.
Cable was through before the dust even settled. He stepped over a few bodies that he hoped were only knocked out and took off as the alarms began to sound to hopefully find some stairs.
[text] I know you don't enjoy news being sprung on you but
[text] if Rachel sent my schedule like I asked her, then you know I'm about to start a press conference
[text] Attend if you'd like, but if not I'm being told it will be almost every channel.
[text] Great.
whatwouldnickfurydo replied to your post:Do people even still read the Bugle?
Obviously somebody does, or they wouldn’t bother writing in to it.
Those people need lives.

do they look up or down while thinking?
He’s the typical “crosses arms, looks down” thinker pose.
