[he ignores Fury’s sarcasm with as much grace as someone like him can afford - not much. he rolls his eyes]

I've been reading, just not the paper. I've been doing some research, and watching the news. It all flows together, really. The news gives me more info on what's going on out there than you'd imagine. Even the Bugle gets it right occasionally. 

I've got a few moves I'm thinking about making.

Well…broke some ribs for starters. Nearly got thrown off a building. Screwed up and someone killed one of my targets…. Did you know A.I.M. had a, uh [gestures, lost for a description]… M.O.D.O.K?

—Also I forgot to feed the dog last night and it ate the cat’s food. So, uh [rubs the back of his neck], there’s also that.

I know a lot of things, M.O.D.O.K. being one of the things you try and forget. Didn't know that was still a thing.

Christ, no. [holds a hand to his chest in mock disbelief] The dog ate the cat's food? Heavens, your life is just in shambles, you're right. What a crazy week.

Look, it’s been a crazy few weeks— I’m sorry the internet wasn’t my go-to priority.

There was a time when I could agree with you on that. But in this day and age it's become quite the help as opposed to a hindrance. Tell me about these "crazy" weeks..
