Belphegor brainrot...?
I wanted to put together all crumbs about Belphie just like I did with Asmo.
I'm looking forward to Asmo more and more, and even though I know what he looks like in Love Unholic, I can't wait for him to appear where h
We know Nilfheim is a something like a military hive mind. Nobles use swords or other melee weapons (the scythe is somewhat included in this), and since consistency is usually maintained, plus Bathin has a uniform resembling a soldier (we will talk about uniforms later), let's very roughly assume that it is, to some extent, a knightly country.
Okay I'll be honest, I'm just amused by the idea of Belphie as a mixture of Sleeping Beauty and a knight on a white horse lol.
look at them
gay as fuck
Depression final boss
The brotherhood no one remembers, The stolen throne and the forgotten tale, bro why does no one in Nilfheim remember anything 😫
we LOVE and RESPECT beleth around these parts 😤
Hot take? But I really headcanon Nilfheim as having Chicano/Latino and Eastern European accents rather then the US Southern dialects they have now.
Mostly bc Nilfheim is this kinda mafioso/cartel place, they're hired guns and they'll literally do any job that no one else wanted to do (for the right price and if you win the dice gamble), similar to the mafia or the cartel lmao. Also Belphegor's specific rhythm and the variety of his pitch sounds so similar to the Latino cartel boss voice if you watch Narcos or some shit. Ahh-I forgot what the Japanese dialect they have is called but it often gets translated as a US Southern accent bc of its association with farming and "low intellect" of the countryside, but in this case I don't think those things really fit Nilfheim.
Also Beleth calls him just "denka" right? I think thats similar vibes to calling the mafia boss just boss or bossman. Which is my related headcanon, they call him Boss not your majesty/maj.
