every year on the 10th of muharram (the first month of the hijri calendar) Egyptians serve a special dish to celebrate the occasion called ashoura (meaning/ wheat pudding).... the dish is mainly made of wheat which is boiled thoroughly till it gets tender, them fresh milk & sugar are added..stirring constantly till pudding is formed..then its poured to ramekins...garnished with cinnamon & nuts ... it's either served warm or cold ....many happy returns ❤
