hey - if you ordered some of those wildflower packets, look up your local invasive plants. you can plant them in your yard or a container this year, make sure they stay contained or pull the bad ones, then next year i'd recommend looking up some regional bee flower packets or flowers they like to plant! i can't remember where those are currently, but they're out there. Don't feel bad about it - it's good that you're trying to help, and it's not your fault the company did something misguided. <3

You have a snake named Wheatley too? Cool! I thought it was a weird name at first myself. I was actually planning on getting a Mojave and naming them Sniper, but I ended up getting a leucistic and decided to name him after the Portal 2 character, Wheatley.

Know any good US-based blue eyed lucy breeders?

OMG I have no idea how long this has been in my inbox. Sorry if it has been awhile…

There are no breeders that only breed lucistics. You’ll just have to find a good breeder that happens to be offering some. As for finding a good, ethical breeder… that will be far more difficult than finding a lucy. I got Wheatley back when I was brainwashed into believing that snakes can live in a small tub with little to no enrichment and the breeder I got him from kept his snakes is extremely small racks. As far as I know, that is how most snake breeders are in the US. I have not looked into any breeders recently so I can’t really recommend any. Sorry I’m not much help.
