i’m gonna make a post about something that’s merely a footnote in the chronicle of the online mcyt fandom, but is too fucking funny to let slide into obscurity.

basically, schlatt’s currently on a mission to raise enough money through a merch drive to buy a $95k monkey statue and several other works by the same artist.

sounds like a normal one so far but i swear it gets funnier

now, since he’s basically on a quest for monkey statues and already owns several, people are sending in suggestions for statues schlatt could buy, including his editor wheatskins.

wheat tweets out a photo of a life size orangutang statue, schlatt responds asking for a link, to which wheat tells him to check dms, joking that they “can’t risk anyone buying” the ridiculously expensive novelty statue first.

fast forward 3 days and wheat tweets this.
